| Welcome to World Of Reality. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here we have but one main rule: Survive. This is an open world roleplay dedicated to an alternate version of our own twisted reality. Here, in this world, dictators become heroes, lawyers become gang thugs, presidents become killers, terrorists become peacekeepers and the world keeps on chugging. What you will partake in includes drive bys, assassination attempts, shootouts, dogfights, fistfights, sword fights, tournaments and many other things. Here is where dreams flourish and thrive; it’s also where they come to live out their last few minutes on this not-so-green earth. For a timeline please consult our resident god: Kio. Two German shepherd dogs howled out in frustration as they jerked Hannah in an awkward motion. She regained her balance quickly, glaring at them. They were always so difficult at night; she never really understood why. Letting out a sigh, her dark brown eyes glanced around. Once again, Risa and Syn dragged her into the worst section of Chicago. Her canine friends were attracted to this place like ants to sugar. I didn’t matter to her where they took their late night walks, but this place always gave her the creeps. “Risa, Syn. We should be heading back now. Alright?” She paused, wanting to see their reaction to her words. The two dogs stood in their place, eyes staring at an alleyway. Hannah growled under her breath, becoming nervous and scared that they refused to listen to her. “Risa! Syn! Now! C’mon already!” Pulling the leashes a bit harder, they didn’t acknowledge her words. What was going on? They never disobeyed her. Her eyes drifted toward the alley they were so transfixed in. Suddenly, the fur on Syn’s back stood on end as he managed to growl in a protective manner. Yanking Hannah forward, his strong body walked forward, Risa close by. Both dogs had lowered their heads, baring the deadly fangs they each had. Hannah stumbled at first, but she had been through enough training to know that Risa and Syn wouldn’t stop till they inspected whatever was making them act like this. Her hand slipped, letting the leashes fall to the ground. Syn dashed in front; Risa quickly following behind. “Crap! No, Risa! Syn! Get back here now!” Hannah called out in a panicked manner. She shouldn’t have let go of the dogs, especially since the police department owned them, not her. “How could I have been so stupid?” An aggravated nose erupted from her throat as she sprinted forward to catch up with the two. They had gotten pretty far ahead, already standing in front of the alleyway. Stopping dead in her tracks, Hannah’s eyes stared at what the now motionless dogs were growling at. A gasp broke the silence as she moved into the alley. The growling from the dogs immediately turned to whimpers; they didn’t want their friend to go into the alleyway alone. Taking a few nervous paw steps, Risa and Syn obediently trailed behind Hannah, who was moving towards the strange figure propped up against the brick wall. Finally reaching it, she knelt down on the dirty cement ground. The first rule when dealing with evidence was to leave everything preserved in the state it was found in. Though, this was a different situation. Hannah needed to found out who or what this figure was; she gently pushed the figure backwards to reveal the face of a young female. Despite a few scratches and bruises, this woman would have been quite beautiful in a better environment. Heart beat increasing, Hannah realized who this woman was. McKenzie, the newbie she had befriended less than a week ago! The young girl had probably just turned eighteen when she got the job in the Chicago police department; who would have gone after someone so young in the taskforce? Hannah couldn’t pull her eyes away from McKenzie and the droplets of blood moving down her face and body. Risa stepped closer to the unconscious body and sniffed it, nervously. It didn’t seem to be contaminated by anything deadly, so Syn moved past Risa licking the girl’s face. Blood smeared, but most of it disappeared onto the tongue of the dog. Hannah blinked rapidly, glancing at the police dogs, forgetting what was happening. Moving Syn and Risa out of the way, she picked up her coworker, cradling the very fragile body in her arms. Hannah hoped McKenzie wasn’t dead or close to dying; the girl didn’t look that badly hurt, anyways. A wave of relief washed over her as she saw the girl in her arms twitch, barely conscious. After the brief sign of movement, McKenzie returned to her motionless state. Bending over, Hannah grabbed both of the dogs’ leashes in her free hand, quickly placing it back underneath McKenzie’s legs. This night kept getting stranger and stranger. She needed to find out what exactly happened to her coworker or it would haunt her forever. For no, she would just have to bring McKenzie back to her home to rest up. Hannah slowly departed from the alleyway, carrying the woman and the leashes of Risa and Syn. |

Icarus slowly trotted towards Chicago, oblivious to any of it’s history, language and social activities. The slow, mundane beeping emanated from the invisible earpiece in his ear, obviously. The beeping was an ingenious code that the Belkriegites gathered from the planet P-49-6-cId (translated to English). It had taken several months to fully master and recognise the code but it was worth it to be able to finally understand this new age way of conveying secret messages to make sure they weren’t intercepted. In the Cerulean War, conveying messages was vital and each message could mean life or death for countless numbers of soldiers. To think this whole war was started with a disagreement over territory which escalated to planetary warfare. Recent news was indicating that it could become a universal war that would require all the resources they could gather. Earth would be a crucial asset in the war as it had evolved to have an atmosphere with 78% Nitrogen. Icarus’ race, the Belkriegites, used Nitrogen to release the energy in their foods. His race’s body was similar to the humans which is why the Belkriegite scientists were so sure it would work and that they would adapt. Eventually entering Chicago, Icarus scanned the almost abandoned streets. This was the part of the human’s daily cycle that nearly all of them rested. Of course one half of Earth was always sleeping while the other half of the planet was awake. Icarus rounded a corner, emerging onto yet another empty street. He sighed, closing his eyes and listening to the beeps of his earpiece. Hearing a sound approaching, Icarus opened his eyes and spotted a female with a pair of animals unknown to Icarus. Not bothering to seek permission, Icarus approached the creatures and bent down, inspecting them by opening their jaws and examining their teeth. This resulted in several growls and snarls from the dogs. Icarus placed two fingers, two for each dog, on the dog’s necks and pushed down onto a nerve. It dulled their senses and generally relaxed them. It worked with most four-legged beasts. Icarus looked up at their handler. “What are these?” He asked bluntly. :// ¬.¬ It's a lot shorter but at least I got it done. :// Edited by Icarus, Sun 16 Aug 2009, 13:00:52.
