King Frederick William III of Prussia died on the 7th of June 1840. The country morns his loss, however a new king has been appointed and will soon be coronated, this is Frederick William IV. The King is dead, Long live the King! Edited by Chief Minister of Prussia, Mar 6 2010, 02:24 PM.
