The Preußische Akademie der Wissenschaften is planning an expansion that should be planned for three months and then finished in the next year. The King has formally granted the renowned Academy a monopoly on producing and selling calendars in Brandenburg. Research businesses led by academy committees are beginning to look into the opportunities to be had from this Academy and its advance. |

The Kingdom of Prussia has given reaserchers a grant to experiment with a morse telegraph between Koningsberg and Berlin. It is hoped that this will be the first part in a wide network of Telegraph lines trough Prussia. |

Krupps has invented the steel invention, 'Spoon Roller'. Alfred Krupp received the patent from His Majesty King Frederick William III and is now selling his innovative product on the markets. He is looking to establish worldwide contact for his product. Krupps has been working with smelted steel since 1816. They are experimenting with tombstones, steel blocks, armour and railway ties. |

December 1839 The Prussian Goverment has found the Telegraph line from Berlin to Koningsberg to be a great succes and has bought a licence from Morse to construct its own Telegraph lines. January 1841 All Prussian Ministeries will be linked by telegraph. This will make communication between them faster, and more efficient. The lines will run underground trough Berlin. |

January 1842 The connection of all the Ministries together has been a stunning success, and now the natural next move is to connect all army HQ´s together with a system of Telegraph lines. A sum of money is still being decided upon. The total distance that the lines will run is 1850 miles. The total cost will be 50,000 pounds sterling.
