Rules The Staff have put together a small list of rules that we expect the participants to follow. This should not be difficult, as all of us are gentlemen, nevertheless we feel they should be put in writing. -Discourse is to be civil and appropriate for a PG rated forum. The allowance of certain topics or other manners of talk will be decided by staff and at their discretion. -Out of Character posts and bits are not to be posted in In Character areas, there is the Out of Character area and Private Message system for these situations. -If you have any grievance against a staff member or staff ruling, this is not to be posted on the boards but you are to use the Third Umpire system. (See below) -Disputes about improper game actions (for instance, a player doing something unrealistic or ASB) should be brought to the attention of an Assembly member via Private Message. Third Umpire System This system is intended to facilitate the resolution of any dispute between one or more game participants and one or more staff or assembly members, in the event of a disagreement with the staff over a certain procedure, the way the staff member handled a situation, or with the attitude of the staff member in general. This is done by bringing it to the attention of the other staff. To utilize this, at any time, send a Private Message to one of the staff members, preferably not one with whom you are in disagreement, with the Subject Line prefix 'TUS Request:' and then go on to detail your problem in full. Please keep your message civil and try not to put too much weight behind anything that has not been confirmed and is merely a rumour. The resultant decision by the staff will be made as fairly as possible and with consideration of all the facts, including those that the participant may not have in hand. Decisions made by the Board of Staff are final. |
