Dark Evil Entity Posts: 41 Group: Global Mod Member #36 Joined: May 31, 2009	Alright, now that the strange title got your attention here's what it's all about - I want everyone to come up with ideas that would lead to the revival of this forum. If you've still stuck around this long, chances are you don't want it to just let it die... I already have some ideas of my own but having more to choose from is always helpful. That said, start suggesting already...

Blue Mage Posts: 574 Group: Members Member #22 Joined: Apr 7, 2009	Allow users to hold mod-approved events to allow the rank ups to go about faster. This should give users some incentive to be more active. I am actually waiting for my RPC to be approved and also for my other to be removed.

Apply for a plot, wait to see if anyone else joins in, get it accepted, reviewed and if it's good validated? If so i think it's okay... Depending on how often the official events are held it might be a good idea. At the very least a clause saying that any official event takes precedence should make it fine i reckon.

Events are not like missions because at least in their idea they were meant to be more like battles and well.... events XD Missions are adventures or tasks that must be accomplished, a event don't have to be anything like that. A event can range from defending a village to joining a celebration in the honour of Mitra. If players want to make their own then that is of course okai, but they should still be NPCed by a mod and be open to everyone. Also, unlike missions events need more then 1 player.

More threads at the same time -> more char development, plots and more importantly activity. Was also thinking about starting or if possible resuming events on top of the above... Also have Shiz send a mass email to all users saying something along the lines of "WoE is trying anew - come give it another try, let's all have some fun"... stuff like that. The creation of a thread in which users can confirm their will to return would also help, as from that RP plots could be prepared among the users... There are other things involved in the restoration, that may require the creation/changing or removing of some rules, editing some things for more clarity and also critting/stamping of any new/existing applications. I'm already thinking of a list for all these last things... Anyways, any comments on the first suggestions? Or perhaps any other ideas? If so speak now or forever hold your tongue! Either that or speak later... since that might be helpful too *shrugs*

Events MUST be restarted, as events are what will drive the story of Estelia^^ If you could look over the test event and then PM me your thoughts on how it worked that would be good Deep, so we could talk a bit about how to run them. (Or make a Staff thread) Mass Email.... I don't really like the idea off, as I really dislike the idea of spamming people with mail. I'd rather hunt them down and PM them on TNF from which nearly every last one came XD I suggest we revivie the advert on TNF, would properly draw a bit back. As for returning sign ups thats properly a good idea.
