Quoted in There:
You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles thru the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves. ~Mary Oliver

Who shall measure the heat and violence of the poet's heart when caught and tangled in a woman's body. ~Virginia Woolf

Only busy saints and true villains forsake activities which give them pleasure. If you regard yourself as neither, enjoy the world as your own. ~Erasmus

News, Views & eVents:
The contest is over and the ceremony too. A week later, apart from the sponsor, the Platform is empty. No new writings. Given that time is precious and that this editor's own project cries for attention, the WG newsletter will resume as new efforts by other Nutter Authors warrant. Wordgrove has always been about other writers and not the paz owner's scribblings. Unless there is to be more new life than fossilized bones in WG, the creative energy that goes into this newsletter is needed for other purposes

That said, this week's WordGame will be held this Thurs evening, 3/4/10, @ 7:00pm Pacific time (10:00pm Eastern) @the WG clubhouse. This week's pre-theme: stuck keyboard key

It may be that some experiences are so exhilarating that there are no words to capture the feeling. A new sport is developing in Norway, and this is what it looks like:
