Board Rules 1. Please be respectful of other members. I will not tolerate discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind. 2. On the same subject, please try to avoid OOC confrontations. That's what the private messaging system is for. 3. This board is rated PG13. I will not allow any graphic sex scenes, overly graphic violence, or extreme profanity. 4. Please try to watch things like spelling and grammar. I know everyone's not perfect, but I don't want to have to read your post eight times in order to understand it. 5. Please don't use chat speak while roleplaying. I'm pretty sure people don't actually talk like that in real life. 6. Let's avoid one-lined posts. It makes it very confusing for RPers. Character Rules 1. Do not post before I accept your characters. Should you do so, your post will be deleted. 2. As you know, nobody's perfect. Therefore, your characters shouldn't be perfect. Please don't make your characters all-powerful and unbeatable. Not only is it not realistic, it's not creative and not fun to RP. 3. If you want to maim or kill off your character, please run it by me first. If you maim or kill off someone else's character, please run it by them first. Remember, we have the right to deny your request. 4. No power playing. That means no playing anyone else's characters. I find it extremely irritating when someone tries to play my character and I'm sure everyone will agree with me. 5. Your character can only have three pets at the most. And they must be household pets. No lions, tigers, or elephants. 6. When posting your characters, please post them in separate topics. Even if they're twins. It just makes it a lot easier for people to read. 7. There will be none of the following in this game. A. Magic. B. Supernatural beings such as gods, angels, demons, vampires, fairies, and leprechauns. And no aliens, cyborgs, or androids either. However, your characters can have the physical appearance or powers similar to the afore mentioned creatures. c. Talking animals. Unless your character has the power to speak to animals, I shouldn't be seeing random house pets conversing with other characters. Follow these rules and great things will happen. |
