I could just die, that ending was ridiculous!!! I know Neal's a thief n all but he's like a puppy dog, like he found a caring owner and is willing to change, I hope that's not the case. I hope he's playing Peter somehow. Speaking of the devil...I wanted to slap that two-timing FBI buff. But it got me thinking, ya know, did anyone but me notice the striking likeness between Kate and Elizabeth? Maybe Kate's her sister...I don't know but I'm ansty, I really can't wait until January.

That was horrible. That ending is just cruel... Though it guarantees lot's of viewing in January. I hope they at least give an inkling spoiler as to why Peter. It's so out of the character they presented him to be. He seems to straight-lace, how can he be playing Neal? Especially since Neal's starting to trust him (he did show him the picture). Such a nice change too, to see a good, non-stupid, non cliche agent that is willing to bend the rules without breaking them (like helping Neal), and not labeling Neal as a bad guy for his past. His relationship with Elizabeth is really nice too, usually shows don't a main character in a good relationship (which still has problems, true, but it seems real), unless the relationship takes a major plot point. I really loved Peter, for sticking to his morals and ethics without being a prune. And what's with the ring? is it his "evil" ring. He never wears it otherwise. AH so many questions. It'd be so sad to see the buddy-buddy thing going away. I loved Peter/Neal on the show, their friendship really grew on me. I'd hate to see them make Peter the bad guy and Fowler the good guy. It's too jump-the-shark. God, I really hope there's an explanation for that, just not that Peter's evil ![]() Edited by tally, Dec 6 2009, 03:40 AM.

Holly: What do you mean San Diego? zaan: That sounds like a wondrous theory. (I hope that's the case!) Tally: Peter/Neal friendship is my favorite kind and if he really is evil, then that'll ruin everything! (including the entire premise of the show) The only thing we got out of Jeff Eastin was, "Nothing is as it seems." Which is what they already *said* in the promo for the January eps. Keep an eye out for pictures, people! |

everyone had to think about it but no one actually thought it was possible that peter was the man with the ring... peter must be a real genius. i wonder why he wears the ring only when he is with kate and not anywhere else, and how he keeps kate seeing as he has a life with his wife and all. wouldn't it be cool if peter forgets to take the ring off and caffrey notices and they split? it would be devastating but a good twist for the show!! |

I'm really dumbfounded about everything that's happened, and I've been thinking about all the directions the show could go. I was so worked up about it that I had dreams about WC all night last night. It was fun! ~RANDOM CRAZINESS WARNING!~ Okay, so I was thinking and I had this really funny thought. What if Peter and Neal continued being partners, but instead of being FBI partners, they started conning everyone with their unexplainable intelligence. They are clearly both geniuses and I know that's not what's gonna happen, but I just thought, what if? That would be really different, and I'd totally accept them being partners in crime. haha! I even worked it out where the similar appearances of Elizabeth and Kate was because they are actually sisters. It is a small world after all ( ), and it would allow Neal and Peter to continue their partnership, but this time they'd all be committing ingenious crimes together. Peter would be the leader because he know the most about how the FBI works. Elizabeth seems sort of powerful as well because in the Book of Hours, she is positive that a female can commit murder and she says this after yelling at some part of her staff at work. Neal is the expert forger and he has brains. Kate learned from Neal and Mozzie so she'd be helpful, but I don't know all that much about her yet, so I can't really be sure of what she's good at. Mozzie works behind the scenes still with all of his mysterious connections. They would be a bad-a$$ team of criminals, and June clearly doesn't have a problem with everything that goes on. ~END OF RANDOM CRAZINESS~ Anyway, clearly this isn't what's going to happen, but I thought it would be sort of funny and it was fun for me to think about! Haha! Okay, now I have to get back to rewatching the latest epi. Sorry for being really out there right now with the extreme craziness, but I'm still trying to cope with Peter's alleged betrayal. (had to throw "alleged" in there...haha! nobody has any proof...other than the ring...dang it!) Back to the drawing board...Later!

It sure is fun to talk about all of this! And it will definitely get people to go back and look at the previous episodes again in the meantime. That random craziness bit was a lot of fun, orangebvin. Now that I've had a chance to think about it a little more, it could be possible that Peter is protecting both Neal & Kate from someone much more dangerous and the only way he can do that is if the love birds cooperate with him. As for that ring...that could be the red herring of all red herrings. There are even a few "Peter has an (evil) identical twin." theories floating around. Minty: In the pilot, when Mozzie gives Neal the pictures of Kate and the man w/ the ring w/his hand on Kate's shoulder, Mozzie says the pictures were taken at an ATM in San Diego. Neal shows Peter the picture (just of Kate) in the pilot and pleads Peter to take him to San Diego or have an agent accompany him there. |

Some people have said that Elizabeth has a ring like it, which is shown when she gives Peter the watch. I've looked through the episode, and i haven't been able to spot it. Anyone know if it's true? |

No, not really. The ring I saw on Elizabeth was much larger and a little clumpier than the one in the picture/on Peter's hand in the finale. I wish they'd tell us more about that darn thing! The way Neal reacted when he saw it in that picture, it obviously has some significance... Seriously, this is getting to be the cliffhanger that stole Christmas... |
