On Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Westfield Township registered voters will elect two Township Trustees. I would like to be part of this new team of trustees who will work diligently on your behalf. My 14 year career in the medical device industry as a sales and manager / consultant has provided me with experience which directly relates to the position of township trustee. I have developed regional and personal budgets, prepared and reviewed expense accounts, managed others and believe in building long term business relationships and customer service for successful results. I am a problem solver whose respect and creative solutions can resolve conflict. I come from a family committed to community service and want to carry on that tradition. My Associate’s Degree is from Cazenovia College and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (cum laude) from Walsh University. I am the current chairperson of our township’s Zoning Commission and the volunteer resident liaison and member of the Westfield Fire Committee. I have attended a number of training sessions to enhance my knowledge of zoning and state codes and procedures and attend Board of Trustee meetings to further my understanding of the current issues facing our township. I am honest with township residents and feel that all opinions should be respected and represented. I work with my fellow board members and the residents of this wonderful community to get issues resolved and can provide out of the box thinking and creative solutions. I will work hard to do the research and combine that with the opinion of the people so that I can be “your choice….your voice”. I respectfully ask for your vote on November 3, 2009! Thank you for your consideration! Heather Sturdevant |
