I am so glad that there is finally a forum that people in the wedding industry can post on! Every one I have come across strictly forbids anyone from giving the slightest hint about the business. I gave one bride some advice about their wedding photography and was reprimanded! ( The bride thanked me for it though!) Any way, congratulations to all those who are engaged and are planning your wedding. I am sure you will find this forum useful over the months. So thank you to Emma and David! Just a little introduction. My name is Catherine and I own Affirmation Photography. I love weddings, and I love Photography, so all in all. I have a pretty good job! I differ from most other photographers in that I create a photography package that is based on your style and budget rather than giving you a chioce of three packages. Can you imagine walking into a wedding dress shop and there hang only three dresses to choose from? No, neither can I. It's your day, have it your way! I offer free consultations, and of course there is no obligation to book. I have an offer on until the end of June. If your wedding photography comes to £650 or more, you will get a FREE 12"x12" canvas from your wedding. That's all for now, hope to speak to some of you soon, and maybe you will be an Affirmation Photography bride! All the Best

Hello to all Brides2B out there! This is a quick update about what's happening at Affirmation Photography over the past few months. I have extended my range of products for your favourite images. As well as the traditional canvas, there are block mounts and acrylic prints which really must be seen to be appreciated. For those that have visited my site, you will know that I do not limit you to a choice of three packages. Though there are three choices when it comes to having your final images (starting at £250) you decide how long you would like me to be there on the day itself and you only pay for the hours I am there. I have been at some weddings for as little as two hours, though the longest time has been 11 hours! Very tiring, but what a fantastic day! The point is, if you are tied to a 'package' there may be parts of it you don't want but end up paying for them anyway. Or, you may find that one package doesn't offer enough, but the next one up is too expensive. With Affirmation Photography, that is never an issue as I work to your budget so you will have a specially created package that is tailored just for you. Please get in touch for a free consultation with no obligation to book. Click here to visit Affirmation Photography, and contact details.click here See you soon

Choosing a photographer is not an easy task with so many of us to chose from so here are a few pointers to think about. *Though the chances are you have a budget to stick to, don't book someone because they are the cheapest. It could prove to be a costly mistake in the long run. *Meet with any prospective photographer. It is important that you all get one with each other. *When you meet with them, see samples of their work. Make sure that they are samples of a real wedding rather than staged shots, and check that they are images taken by the actual photographer that will be there at your wedding. The quality of your final images can't be judged from a website. *Don't feel pressured into booking there and then unless you want to. *Expect a quality professional service as you would from any one, but don't expect things for nothing. At Affirmation Photography, I offer an Engagement/pre-wedding Experience. It is the perfect way to find out if we get on, and you like my style of photography. Though you pay for the photographs initially you pay less on your balance so your are not paying any extra overall. If you would like more information, you can contact me here. Bye for now,
