Want some opinions about my league list. The league is 2250, 7th ed (obviously). I'm running a Bret list, the one that I'm going to concentrate on all year.

Paladin, BSB
Virtue of Duty, Sword of Might

Damsel, lvl 1
Warhorse, Scroll Caddy

KotR, 7
Full Cmd, War Banner

Knights Errant, 7

Men @ Arms, 23

Archers, 10
Skirmish, Braziers

Yeomen, 5

The league starts in 3 weeks, I know that I'll be facing Lizards, Deamons (Khorne), Goblins, and more.

Please shoot me an e-mail with any specific tips.

Knights in groups of 7...

Are you forming the Knights into the Lance with a Damsel in the middle?

I'll admit I don't play Brets, so ignore me if my ideas suck (common ocurrence :P ), but are damsels heroes? If they are, you have 1 too many for a game below 3k.

Damsels are heros. Brets get one more hero choice than everyone else because the BSB is compulsory.

The damsels go into the second rank, in the Middle of each of the knight units

Brets are my second army. But I haven't played them (or played against them) in over a year. So my memory is a little cloudy.

Do you need that many core choices? Because that is a lot of core. I notice, however, that you only have 1 rare choice. I would be in favor of swapping out a regiment of archers (and depending on point values, maybe a few models from you Men at Arms) to include a Trebuchet. With the archers' shorter range and an average BS, I have always been able to do WAY more damage with a trebuchet than with archers. Obviously, the flaming attacks can be nice against specific enemies, but it sounds like you want this list to be comprehensive. So the flaming attacks are almost a non-factor. Just my opinion :)

I think Men at Arms are only good at claiming table quaters and nothing alse. Against deamons of khorne they will get chopped up easy. Only need one unit if any at all.

Maybe more knights, thats all bretts have going for them IMO.

Well, I will make my first post on this forum a constructive one then, and give you my opinion, and tips on your list. (I am not a Brets player, but I do know a little about fantasy list construction).

1) Drop the Pegasus Knights down to 4, and remove all the non compulsory command models. These knights are meant to kill warmachines and rear charge. A standard is a risk that you may find it is not worth taking, especially if they get nuked, or chased down. Captured standards are a pain.

2) Drop the command off of the Yeoman too. Again, it is wasted points.

3) This will give you the points for the Trebuchet, and some spare, which could be converted into one more knight somewhere to make up numbers.

I know this is too late for your tournament, but I hope it will help for future list designs.
