Once more, Xaicopatzic, Commander of the Cohorts, strode into the arena, prepared to defend his title. Challenging Xaico for this title was an ogre of quite some repute. His rippling belly of fat and muscle was not a nice sight, and his primitive growl was loud and deep, yet the defining feature of Hrothgar Mawseeker was the crudely spiked club bigger than the saurus warrior standing opposite him. However, it would take more than an untrained ogre to unsettle the mighty Commander of the Cohorts. Xaico unsheathed his sword, eyed up Hrothgar, and charged forwards. With a growl, he brought his ancient weapon to bear on the ogre's gut, slicing his belly open, cutting through skin and tissue, leaving charred markings. With the grace of a brick, Hrothgar roared and edged his club forwards, aiming to quickly strike at the Scar-leader. Xaicopatzic dodge back a little, but his reptilian reflexes left him sluggish, and he failed to get out of the way fast enough. The metal-tipped weapon collided solidly with Xaico's head, knocking him back, leaving him slightly dazed. The blessing of the slann was with him that day, as Xaicotatzic remained largely unharmed. Drawing back his revered blade, he readied it for another strike. With the force of his race, he sent the weapon hurtling towards the ogre, piercing his gutplate like it were cardboard. The armour appeared to physically melt into the centre like a vortex. The weapon went straight into Hrothgar's gut, piercing an untold number of organs. Despite the burning pain in his gut, Hrothgar still had plenty of fight left in him. He raised his club well above his head. With a mighty cry, he brought the spiked weapon to bear on Xaicopatzic's skull with the force of a thousand anvils. From the impact of the blow, Xaico's skull was shattered instantly. As the saurus collapsed in a heap, Hrothgar removed the sword from his belly, just as casually as a human would remove an irritating thorn. Victory to Hrothgar Mawseeker the Ever-hungry! Wow. Just, wow. I am really not happy with the quality of that. Give me a few days, and I'll try conjure up an improvement of some kind.
