Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Empire
The Empire is a nation located on the Old World, east of Bretonnia, south of Kislev and north of Tilea. It is arguably the most powerful human realm of the Old World and perhaps even of the Warhammer world. The Empire is not a centralized state, but rather a group of individual states bonded together by common history, language, interests, customs, and culture.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Sylvania
Sylvania is a province (though not an independant State) of The Empire. Sylvania is infamous as being the home of the von Carstein bloodline of Vampires, Vlad von Carstein being the first to take up his abode there. Even many years after the defeat of Manfred von Carstein at the Battle of Hel Fenn and its following annexation by the State of Stirland Sylvania remains a cursed region where tribes of Ghouls lurk and a watchful presence remains in Castle Drackenhof.

The Eastlands

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Ogre Kingdoms
The Ogre Kingdoms lie east of the Dark Lands, in the Mountains of Mourn, far to the east of the Worlds Edge Mountains. The Kingdoms (as the name implies), are a large collection of dictatorships, each ruled by it's own Tyrant. A kingdom is usually made up of whatever the kingdoms Tyrant can see from his home (since the Mountains of Mourn are usually very tall and cover almost every direction on the compass, the kingdoms are usually little more than a valleys), and everything within it's borders are subservient to him, wether they want to be or not. The kingdoms are host to a large number of dangerous creatures, such as Sabretusks, Mammoths, Yeetes, Rhinoxes, Gnoblars and the Ogres themselves.

The Southlands

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Nehekhara
Nehekhara is the name given to the empire of the Tomb Kings of Khemri. It is located far to the south of the Old World, east of Araby and west of the Worlds Edge Mountains. It is a desert land where harsh storms batter the people and damage the buildings. Life is hard, but in some places, where the desert recedes, life can be pleasant. There is one great river in Nehekhara which provides ample farmland for the cities based around it. It also allows a good deal of trade to pass down it to the interior. Nehekhara stretches from the southern sea to the Worlds Edge Mountans and then across to The Bitter Sea. It goes deep into the jungles in the south and contains many rich Lizard palaces and tombs. To the north it expands well into the badlands. It is currently ruled by the dead, easily outnumbering any regular visitors to the land. Settra the Imperishable rules with an iron fist but rarely dispatches armies, usually waiting for others to come to him. There are many cities in Nehekhara, all of which are now empty, devoid of all life. Some of these include:

The Great Mortis River is the largest river to flow through Nehekhara, domain of the Tomb Kings of Khemri. It runs from the World's Edge Mountains, through the plains of central Nehekhara via the tomb city of Khemri and when it reaches the great ocean, it splits into a vast delta.

The New World

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Lustria
Lustria is a land far to the west, roughly associated with South America. It was the home to the Old Ones as it fit with their metabolism much better than anywhere else in the world. Here they prospered and built great cities, guiding the path of life throughout the rest of the land. The land of Lustria is covered in Lizard gold, drawing theives and treasure hunters from all over. Many explorers have never returned as the riches of the Lizardmen are guarded violently. To the north of Lustria is the land of the Dark Elves, and High Elves to the north east. It has since been the centre of a campaign called Conquest of the New World, where roving bands of Old Worlders have entered Lustria in an attempt to plunder the vast riches of the Lizardmen.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Naggaroth
Naggaroth is bordered on the north by the Realm of Chaos (called also Chaos Wastes) and on the south by the tip of Lustria. The continent is split by a vast and rugged mountain range called the Blackspines (from "Black Spine of the World"). The high average elevation and climate factors combine to make the average temperature across most of the continent bitterly cold. Thus Naggaroth has also been called the "Land of Chill". Most of the continent is harsh and unforgiving wilderness, making travel overland extremely difficult. The Dark Elves have overcome this problem by exploring and charting a vast labyrinth of underground waterways which connect a series of fortified gates across the land.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Vampire Coast
The Vampire Coast is bordered to the east by the World Pond - although known as the Great Ocean - and to the west by the steaming jungle. To the north a pensulina, filled with jungle, lies between the Vampire Coast and the Tarantula Coast. There are the ruined Lizardman City of Huatl near the coast and Tlax deeper inside the jungle. At the southern end of the Vampire Coast there lies the Volcanic Islands east to the delta of the River Lambada. North to that delta the ruins of the City of Axlotl will be found, that was looted and destroyed by Luthor Harkons undead Hordes.

The Realms of Chaos

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Chaos Wastes
The Chaos Wastes, also known as the Umbra Chaotica, lie far to the north of the Empire of Men, near the top of the world. Found beyond even the farthest reaches of Norsca and the Sea of Swords, the Chaos Wastes are comprised of terrain both frigid and desolate, wherein few natural things grow and only the most desperate or highly mutated creatures can hope to survive for long. The Chaos Wastes exist as a buffer between this world and the Realm of Chaos. While the outskirts of the Chaos Wastes are analogous to the tundra-like conditions of Norsca or Troll Country, the landscape changes dramatically further to the north. Inland from the shores of the Sea of Chaos, the land is rife with the corrupting influence of the Ruinous Powers. It is here in the birthplace of magic that the breath of the gods blows more strongly than anywhere else in the world. From here, the blasphemous promises of power and glory are carried on the winds to all who can hear them.
