Do not trust me!

Charlotte’s garganta appeared in hueco mundo, and she stepped out into a land of eternal darkness, the moonbeams setting the white sand a glow. As she strode through the desert, the sand was constantly shifting underneath her feet, the soft grains sliding between her toes. She wandered alone in the desert, her only company was her own shadow – for all else remained still and quiet. Everything was dark and bleak. After crossing over the ridge of one particularly steep dune, she lost her footing on the way down, slipping and sliding, eventually going over an incredibly thin layer of sand. It buckled under the weight, dropping her into the harsh wilderness of the menos forest waiting below. Charlotte woke up lying on her side in a clearing. She had fallen directly into the menos forest. She hated this place. The first time she had come here, she had fled as soon as she possibly could. It was a good thing that she remembered where the exit was. She then noticed a pair of glowing red eyes, staring straight at her. Their penetrating gaze concerned her. She got up, keeping a watchful eye on the pair that were watching her. And then another pair appeared, and then another, and then another (etc). “Uh oh... this isn’t good.” She began to sprint, the other hollows charging into the clearing. She sprang up onto a tree branch, using it to propel herself to the next. She bounded from tree to tree, chased by hollows both on foot and in the air. Instead of leaping onto the next branch, she suddenly stopped, deciding instead to jump and climb up the tree to the next level of branches. This caused the other hollows to become confused, the majority of them falling some distance behind. She was nearly there now... she could smell it. Edited by Tristan, Jul 6 2009, 05:38 PM.
