Keep Rockin', Baby!
There are many religions and mythologies in the world of War of Discord and with them came various weapons of legend. In this day and age, the Church of the Guardians; also called the Celestial Church or just the Church, is the most widespread. The Church holds power to some degree in all nations but especially in Falhador where they can even rival the monarchy at times.

The Church of the Guardians is divided into three sects: the Priesthood, the Paladins, and the Sisterhood. The Priesthood, governed by the Council of Elders, is seen as the head of the Church and, as such, the other two sects often abide by their wishes. The Paladins are the Church’s military might; they are the men and women who pass down holy judgment as commanded by the Council. Although the Council can supersede their authority, the Paladins are usually commanded by the three generals who bear the title of Protean. The Sisterhood is the order of the Clerics. They have no supreme commander aside from the Council but each area is controlled by a Head Sister.

The Church of the Guardians worships not the gods, whose existence they do not deny, but rather the Celestial Guardians who preserve order in the cosmos. Generally speaking, they don’t interfere with the works of men aside from the occasional blessing but rather defend the world from threats beyond mortal comprehension. Despite their immense power, the Celestials aren’t seen as having the power of creation. The names of the Celestial Council, who hold all power, are said to be thus:

Meltos; Celestial of Fire
Nycius; Celestial of Water
Dentok; Celestial of Earth
Cheena; Celestial of Wind
Nosmor; Celestial of Lightning
Mintah; Celestial of Ice
Doramin; Celestial of Darkness
Zelenal; Celestial of Light
Sahtael; Celestial of Time

With each member of the Celestial Council, with the exception of Sahtael whose weapon would be too great, there is said to be a weapon that is blessed with their Element here on earth. For your convenience, I shall include the name of the nation where the weapon is said to lie. Also note that all holy weapons have the effects of the Impervious rune without actually being inscribed. Lastly, some of the weapons have already been claimed by NPCs.

Ignis: A bastardsword said to contain the heat of a volcano. Located in Sameria.
Aqua: A halberd said to contain the fury of the oceans. Located in Allehbast.
Terra: A great ax said to draw upon the power of the earth. Located in Felhador.
Ventus: A spear said to command the winds of the world. Located in Sameria.
Lucendi: A longbow said strike with the forth of a lightning bolt. Located in the North.
Glacies: A tomahawk said to be colder than anything from the mortal plane. Located in the North.
Tenebre: A katana said to house the essence of the night. Located in Allehbast.
Lumen: A longsword said to shine the light of the noonday sun. Located in Falhador.

Aside from those, there also exists other weapons of power. Some of which were forged by Humans or Elves and imbued with powerful magic. Most of them aren’t acknowledged by the Church as holy weapons with the exception of two. Those two are:

Aldonia; The Reversion Blade: A broadsword said to be used by Zelenal. It contains the light of a thousand suns.
Entildon; The Rending Blade: A broadsword of similar make to Aldonia, is it said to be the weapon of Doramin. It is wrapped in a shroud of darkness and is hard to perceive by most.

As for the remainder, the ones still in common knowledge are thus. Their locations and powers can be determined by whomever seeks them. Players can create their own if they wish.

Entwildain: A longsword forged by the Elves in an age long since past.
Dolondil: A great ax of unknown origin used by the hero Mattelyn during the Purge.
Rebellion: A greatsword of demonic origin used by the hero Dante to seal the demonic plane.
Nevendol: A longsword of unknown origin and history but with tremendous power. Said to have been split into four parts.
