» TNA decided to tone down the Don West heel turn per orders from the top. According to reports, the company felt they went too far with it in the beginning and had to get it under control. They went forward with toning down the character at the Destination X PPV and the iMPACT! TV tapings that followed by having West play a subtle heel as the weeks progressed. At this point it isn't expected to get as much attention as it did earlier. » There are some rumblings backstage regarding plans to launch a British faction, which would presumably be centered around Brutus Magnus. TNA would bring in Doug Williams, who is still under contract to the organization, but only paid per appearance. The company has brought Williams to television in the past, but he primarily works for the company when they tour the UK. » XtremeFalls43 sent this in: I live in the Philadelphia area and Sports Station 610 WIP has been giving away free tickets all week to people. At one point they were doing Trivia Questions for Phillies Tickets and gave TNA tickets away to the people who got the wrong answers. None of the host seemed very excited to be giving away Wrestling Tickets. |
