If Skyrim was made into a MMORPG I would probably never leave the house again.

Also started reading Reaper's post but then I took an arrow to the knee. Anyone want to tell me what it was about?

If you mean where the "Arrow to the knee" thing came from. Its from a guy that you talk in the game and he says "I used to be an adventurer like you. But then I took an arrow to the knee." And yeah. It has already made itself a new meme.

Yeah, it pisses me the fuck off man. That's why I thought I'd post something similar to it here and piss other people off. (:

Edit: Seriously though. I hope that joke dies out already. It's as bad as the Soviet Russia and Mum jokes.

It's not as bad as the Gears forced meme. At the end of every sentence or story, you say "boom i'm sawed off"

haha....sounds like you're pumping smithing to try to be stronger. Doesn't work that way my friend. As you level up, you'll force the average level of enemies to go up as well. While you're making some pretty looking equipment, your combat skills stay the same, while your enemies get stronger. It's a trap some people fall into that takes a bit to get out of, depending on how long you went without raising a combat skill.

Check out this comic about it:

Lol, I didn't mean the meme, I meant what was reapers post about because I stopped reading after I took an arrow to the knee. I was trolling him. :'D

But if I don't train it I wouldn't get it at all. But yeah. lol that comic made me laugh. XD I guess I should go adventuring. But I really do want the Ebony armour, Daedric bow and daggers, and, hum, some cool sword you get from doing the Thieves Guild missions.

Well, I didn't want to go in depth with the enemy's leveling system. Basically, every area has a set level range for enemies, lets say lvl 15-25 for one particular area. If you enter that particular area as a level 14, all the enemies will be lvl 15. If you enter the area at lvl 72, all the enemies will be lvl 25. But it's locked...meaning their level is decided by your first visit to that area.

Well I just quit my main account. I got about 5 levels with smithing and what Elitepants said is true. A guy that I could have killed in a few hits was a fucking pain in the ass, I had to kill him in the werewolf form despite the fact of that he killed me 4 times previously. Now my new main is a level 5 rofl. I'll have to work my way to 24 again. It'll be fun. =P

Two times terror equals one sudden death

Im like a sniper with an ebony bow. My smithing is shit like level 22 and Im still 26. My bow does a whopping 40 damage then you add arrows. I then made Thors Hammer that does only 10 lightning damage and 22 regular damage. I am literally an entity of darkness in the game as I have over 3 ways to turn invisiable just incase I meet my match (which is usually Dragon Priest and Drougr OverLord and fire breathing elder dragons)

Lawl...just make sure you level up your combat skills in between smithing. What I did was quest for a bit, and then smith a few things/improve my weapons and armor using materials/gold I got from questing and killing stuff, then rinse and repeat.

The side-quest tied into main quest called "Discerning the Transmundane" has the best quest reward I've encountered so far. You get a book called the Oghma Infinium, which permanently raises all your skills in a particular starsign (Warrior, Thief, Mage) by +5. You must be at least level 15 before this quest can be completed though.

A glitch with this book will enable you to max out all your skills in a matter of 10-20 minutes. The glitch will likely not be encountered on accident though, so if you're the type that hates game-breaking goodness, you don't need to fear the Oghma.

Sounds interesting. I'll get to that my dear mate. Now. How could we have a peaceful real time Skyrim chat? I'm really really excited to talk with you about my Skyrim experiences. XD
