So yea, thought I'd throw this one up here cuz its fking epic, and I could use some people to play with.

*Note: the English version is currently only licensed in the North America region, I'm not entirely sure what all that includes but I know it includes the US and Canada, if you live outside these areas you might not be able to play (without using a proxy, altho they generaly cause lag issues when doing anything other than solo play).

Anyways, as for the actual game, its a 2D sidescrolling fighter, think arcade sidescroller + MMORPG. Runs on a stage system so instead of areas or maps or whatever, all the combat takes place in Dungeons, which are each their own stage, with four unlockable difficulty settings. The town/world is more or less a lobby/trading/repairing/upgrading/etc... area. You can see everyone in your channel in town, but once you enter a dungeon its just you and your party (or you alone if you don't have a party), up to four players in a party.

The gameplay is pretty awesome, with a lot of fancy skills and attacks, its a highly skill based game where some MMOs tend to lean more towards gear/stat based. It's a lot more about how you use your character than what gear/skills you have. There's PvP as well, which is very fun, you can easily spend most of your playtime in the pvp arena. Altho the classes aren't entirely balanced in PvP (especially at lower levels), there's always a way to win, and once the US version reaches the true level cap at 60 all the classes become pretty balanced.

As for characters, there's a pretty large selection, and they all play very differently, making it equally fun to start a new character once you've maxed/gottenbored of/whatever, your other characters.

Theres 5 classes, with 4 subclasses each, for a grand total of 19 playable character types currently (the 4th priest subclass isn't completed yet)
the primary classes are
Slayer - swordsman type class, decent range, speed and attack power depends on type of weapon used
Fighter - close combat melee characters, fast and powerfull, deadly when they get in range
Priest - healing/buffing class, but don't think they can't fight back, uses large weaponry such as giant crosses, axes, and scythes
Mage - blows stuff up with magic, not much else to say, battlemages being the exception to the group, they use staves/spears and are a powerfull combo based melee class
Gunner - longest range class, generally a single target DPS based class, altho launchers have exceptional mass damage abilities.

So heres some epic videos of the game

Solo Play -an epic WeaponMaster (slayer subclass), uses all five weapon types

Party play - Slayer[weaponmaster] Fighter[Grappler] Gunner[ranger]

Really random stuff, pretty amusing (mostly pvp clips)

[Finding more videos that show the gameplay decently]

So yea, check it out, its free to play, and although Nexon got their hands on it (Their NA branch blows, seriously) the game is still amazing despite their failure.

O yea, almost forgot, its one of the least grindtastic MMORPG-ish games I've seen, you can actually accomplish stuff without having to dedicate like 5 straight hours, lol.
