The first voyage of the USS Lucas a Mahan Class is going to be a bit some what of an light hearted homage to previous incarnations of Star Trek, in preparation for the Victory Fleet mission to keep an eye out for anything that looks odd and threatens the Federation. We are an easy going simulation looking for talented writers that are willing to be able to through themselves into the missions, along being part of the community that the Lucas will set forth with this simulation. We’ll aim for great lengths to ensure that this sim aims high and everyone is comfortable writing. Lucas is seeking a crew that are dedicated, will not vanish with out a notice, and making time for the simulation. Quid pro quo, you give us your time, we will make time for you and reward you for your efforts. We know simulation have their good and bad times but we’ll make it through anyways. On a final note, the Lucas will be looking to have members of the crew from an NON-COMS officer to Officers point of views. Those that seek out and willing to play as non-coms officer, will be welcomed with open arms and be given priority over those wishing to play officers, but this does not mean that you will be rejected. So far we have four positions, including my own as Commanding Officer filled, and are looking to fill the following roles as quickly as possible: Executive Officer Second Officer Chief of the Boat Mission Advisor Flight Control Chief Flight Control Officer Assistant Chief Flight Control Officer Flight Control Officer Shuttle/Runabout Pilot Security & Tactical Cheif of Security Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer Security Officer Security Officer Tactical Officer Tactical Officer Brig Officer Master-At-Arms Operations Chief Operations Officer Assistant Chief Operations Officer Quartermaster Boatswain Engineering Chief Engineering Officer Assistant Chief Engineering Officer Engineering Officer Communications Specialist Computer Systems Specialist Damage Control Specialist Matter/Energy Systems Specialist Propulsion Specialist Structural/Environmental Systems Specialist Transporter Chief Science Chief Science Officer Assistant Chief Science Officer Science Officer Language Specialist Medical & Counseling Cheif Medical Officer Chief Counselor Assistant Chief Medical Officer Medical Officer Medical Officer Counselor Nurse Intelligence Chief Intelligence Officer Assistant Chief Intelligence Officer Intelligence Officer Infiltration Specialist Marine Detachment Marine Commanding Officer Marine Executive Officer 1st Platoon Commander 1st Squad Commander 2nd Squad Commander 3rd Squad Commander 2nd Platoon Commander 1st Squad Commander 2nd Squad Commander 3rd Squad Commander Starfighter Wing Wing Commander Wing Executive Officer Squadron Leader Squadron Pilot Civilian Affairs Cheif Waiter Bar manger Edited by Jim Varley, Thursday Jul 9 2009, 09:16 PM.

last bumpeed for today: First mission: DISTRESS AROUND THE STARS The crew of the USS Lucas was looking forward to returning to IWO Jima Station, their patrol had been uneventful this time and they were just a few days away from liberty. Unfortunately for them, they had used "quiet" on time too many and before they know it they are receiving distress calls from a caravan of cargo freighters headed for the Issca Colony. General Varley orders the ship to break standard patrol and head to the caravan to act as an escort. No sooner had the decision been made but the caravan sends out a mayday - they're now under attack by unknown hostiles from the Delta Quadrant. now please sign up because all postions are open besides Counselor and XO.
