9-20-2008 Staff Applications are now up! It's about time. :B I've also done some layout shifting: The chatbox is now at the bottom of the forum, and a staff list will be on the top in its place.:B I'm gonna try to bring this place back up some. Let's hope for the best. 8-6-2008 Two NPCs have been added to 5. People and Organizations. Locke Harper is the fairly optomistic President and founder of the Esper Coaltion, while Nicholas Hobbes is the strict and serious Chief of the Vertex Police. Both are well known in the city, and both are named after old world philosophers. Have fun reading :D |

Residential Areas
Edark's homes consist mostly of older apartments and townhouses. While they aren't as new and flashy looking as they could be, their owners do take care of them, and go to the effort of making the most of what they have, decorating windows and porches with potted plants, glass mobiles, or simply painting the buildings themselves bright and (sometimes) gaudy colors.

The Industrial Park
The Industrial Park of Edark is an area set aside for industrial development. It's name is fitting; this is where the major factories in the city are located. The low, nondescript buildings are typically fenced off to all but people with business there, but there are some very old structures that are empty. Also here are warehouses where completed goods are stored before being shipped off, which are also walled off and guarded. Like the factories, there are some which are abandoned, and would probably offer a good hiding spot.

Streets and Alleys
There are plenty of areas just out of sight in Edark, winding between and behind buildings and homes. Occasionally you find smaller stores in these side roads. There's no guarantee as to these stores being legal.
There's also the old subway entrances, some of which have been broken into. But you really don't want to go down there. |
