Well, it depends on the game it's in.

If it was like a tamagotchi game, starting out small would be normal.
If it was an online action shooter, starting out small would be odd.

Yeah, it's going to be an online shooter. And please no pets and houses and stuff Coollog. It makes no sense to have pets. Banana with a monkey? Or anything else? ... Houses is blech. If any main idea you suggest I could live with would have to be the rogue rating one. Anything else is icky.

Also, instead of placing items on the map, we could have customizable classes like in Call of Duty 4. However, this is unbalanced because everyone would do rotkets, sword or sniper so we may have to change some of those around. Like rotkets could be switched with grenades. Except the rotket would be inaccurate and slow. You only get two rotkets to shoot as well. Or do perks like in Call of Duty 4 which is personally where the game shines.

Yeah, make the collision masks the same. Well, about resizing it, I tried it out (but then accidently saved it JPEG...) and they didn't turn out as good. Having the guns fit to them would probably be best to be honest. And Coollog, I don't think we should have new players be seeds and such. It's just odd... Ya know?
Well, it would show like whos newbies and whos got skillz or played a long time. It's sorta a class leveling. Elements Online does a thing like that, where you grow from somehting basic to something complex.

Houses and pets and minigames and lounges and city are to add rpg style to it so you wouldnt have nothing to do when nobodys on or when you are tired of battling and would like rest.

Isn't Element Online an RPG? Well, if you want to showcase level, that's why we have the lobby picture I mad with the ranks picture to show who's really good or not.

And the RPG element just doesn't seem like the right type of idea for an online shooter. The only RPG-like element which is a nice addition in an Online Shooter is the leveling up system. Well, come to think of it, you [should incorporate a single player campaign/story mode option. It can keep players at bay and actually fits in instead of the RPG thing. It pretty much is like an extended mini game. And plus, if no one is on and you're doing the RPG part, there still isn't much to do...

Well later we need to make the game bigger.

do the items (mustache, etc.) actualy do anything? or are they all there just to customize? if so, i believe more customizations are in order.

also, instead of houses, one could create their own "arenas" doing good gets you a sort of currency that you can use to buy stuff to put in your arena, suach as fancy backdrops, new floor tiles, crates, teleporters, lava, endless possibilities, some reward could also be given when many other players use your arena...
