Akito rose from his bed, a look of determination in his eyes. He went and looked himself in the mirror, he looked better and was feeling better than he had previously. He finally made up his mind, he would train him self in the Quincy arts of long past. He entered his room once more and opened a chest and slowly reached for a book. Am I...Really ready for this..? I..I think I can handle it...No! I know I can handle it..I'm tired of being weak, i'm tired of always being the one getting protected! She..She's saved me numerous times...In her eyes I am inferior to her..That's why...Why I have to get stronger.

He slammed the chest shut and dragged it to his room. He kicked on one of the wall panels and it slide up, he pulled the chest through and the wall slammed shut once more. He was now in a room which was completely empty. It has been reinforced with Soul-synthesized silver. This room would suffice for his training. He sat the chest down in the corner and slowly opened it. He reached for the book which seemed to be ancient. Father...You told me to never open this book of secrets unless I needed to push past my limits...I believe i've gone as far as I can with my current powers. Thank you for leaving this in my hands.

Akito lifted the book slowly and began reading the ancient text. The lettering, a spidery text, the descriptions, precise as they come, the tense, all spoke of the past knowledge of the elders long forgotten. He read from the book for hours, his mind soaking up the knowledge like a sponge. He flew the pages of ages past, gaining knowledge by the minute, comprehending every word his eyes past by. Hours upon hours went by, his first step of training had already begun as soon as he opened the book.

He awoke slowly, he had read the book the entire night and finished it before dawn. The knowledge fresh in his mind, he yawned. Wow...The Elders as well as my father were wise beyond words, they spoke volumes of knowledge. I am glad I have learned of techniques I never knew existed..Now I have to learn how to utilize them and make them my own...But first...I need the Sanrei Glove.

He looked down at the chest next to him and opened it once more. Lying at the top was a blue and white glove, neatly folded and put away. He carefully reached for it and stopped, his hand right above it. If I master this...My power should grow far beyond what I would normally have achieved..But there is a drawback...Once I take the glove off...or I break a rod on it..I enter the Final Form...That's the true form of all Quincy power..I can hold that form for 10 minutes..But after, I lose all powers...I can only use that as a last resort...

Akito grasped the glove and slowly slid it down onto his left hand, it was a good fit. He closed his eyes and focused on summoning the bow. After a few minutes the spirit particles around his hand scattered and slammed together to form a bow. His eyes shot open and he gasped. My gosh...That was...Very difficult...I have to keep this bow active for a week...constantly firing arrows...This is going to take me to the limit...

Akito stood with his feet planted, unflinching, with an unstoppable determination. He was 3 days into the training, his legs were numb, his head was throbbing, and he was sweating profusely. His breaths came in ragged breaths. His fingers bled and calloused, his arms tired, and his mentality was being challenged by exhaustion. Yet he kept firing. I can't quit...I have to get stronger...I need this power..

On the final day, he felt like collapsing before his training was finished. His knee's about buckled twice, and his fingers were numb and bleeding, he could hardly grip the arrows he was forming. Hours went by with the steady stream of arrows flying from the bow. Sweat dripped from his face like it would if he would have just left the shower. Beneath him was a puddle of sweat, from the days upon days of training without stop. Finally, night fell and his training was complete, the bow in his hands dispersed and vanished, he stumbled forward, his knees buckled and he fell forward collapsing to the ground.

He awoke 3 days later, he felt refreshed, and stronger than he's ever felt before. He clenched and unclenched his blood crusted fingers, the blood flakes falling away, his was back to top strength. He stood slowly, feeling the power surge through his veins. He walked over to the chair, but stopped. He held his right hand out and concentrated, the bow seemed to form without any effort at all, and as he summoned the bow, he felt as if he got even stronger. He smirked and put it away.

Akito laid his hands once more on the ancient text, reading it slowly. He flipped the pages a few times and read about a technique, he scanned over the words slowly and carefully, taking in what it had begun to teach him. Moments later he decided to put it to the test. He sat in the chair and put his hands on his lap. Ransotengai...Said to be the pinnacle of Quincy Battle Techniques...If I can master this...I will be a force to be reckoned with..

He sat for long moments, mentally preparing himself for the endeavor he was about to embrace. It wouldn't be easy, he thought. But he must push forward. This technique would require him to be at max power because of the pure difficulty of it. He stood and released his reiatsu, raising it up from the very pits of his being. He focused, condensing it to threads. He formed reiatsu threads from his mind to his nerves. That was the easy part. The hard part would be movement.

He stood for hours, unable to move at all with the technique, he was just about to give up when his foot slid just a bit. This spurred no hope in him and he tried even harder. Soon he was able to walk, but it wasn't fluid movement, it was more like jerking yourself around.

He slept the night away and awoke the next morning. He was about to start on the training again, he pushed his powers to the maximum as he did before, and began forming the threads. Soon after he was doing his jerking movements. He did that for a few hours before his movements were fluid, he could walk and even run with fluidity. He could fight as well. But using Hirenkyaku would be a chore.

After a few days have went by, Akito could run, fight, walk, and Hirenkyaku with just the threads. It was so fluid in fact, that by controlling himself with this technique, he could move faster, and react quicker than he could normally. He could see this coming in use later on in the future he thought. He walked over to the door and kicked it, it rose up. He stepped through it, and looked back into the room. Thank you, Father. He shut the door and left.
