IC Description: Name: Evelyne Marie Desmarais Alias/Nickname:Eve Blanche-Neige (Snow White in French),Lynn(by her brother) Age: 17 Gender: Female Race and Level: Vampire, Level B Status: Nightclass student
Appearance: Lèvres rouges comme le sang, les cheveux noirs comme la nuit, apportez-moi votre cœur, ma chère, chère Blanche Neige.Lips red as blood, hair as black as night, bring me your heart, my dear, dear Snow White.
Evelyne was naturally beautiful since the day she was born. Falling like a waterfall just a few itches past her shoulders, is her black hair. It's pitch black like a night sky and a raven's feather. Framing her pale face, are bangs that come down to her sharp jawline. Behind this curtain of black threads is a pale, doll-like face. It's free of any scar or blemish, like a cold, clean slate. Looking out at the world with a calm and welcoming look are dark-outlined blue eyes. Though the color is an icy sort of blue, they have a warm feeling to them until you hit a nerve. The pale canvas is completed with a small nose and a full, red mouth. Eve was always rather petite as a child from being sickly, so she only stands at about 5'8" and weighs close to 105 pounds.
Young Miss Desmarais's attire is rather sophisticated because of her families level. It ranges in different directions, being one of her ways to express herself artistically. With her hair either tied up in a neat or bun or waving down past her shoulders, her attire is also relaxed. Eve's style ranges from something simple such as a sweater and dress to something such as jeans and a blazer.
Growing up as a level b, Evelyne attended quite a few events such as balls and galas. Reaching from her favorite colors, she loves to where something simple yet elegant in the colors blue, white, or gray.
Personality: Vous possédez une rare beauté, mon amour, ici. Jamais perdre. Il vous sera bien utile lorsque vous êtes la reine. You posses a rare beauty, my love, in here. Never lose it. It will serve you well when you are queen.
Evelyne's personality really is rare. She has a kind heart and a love for everything and everyone around her. Many would call her optimistic, but in truth she finds know need to hate anyone that has done no wrong against her. She has this smile and this aura about her that just lights up a room.
To people who don't take the time to know the young aristocrat, she may seem serious, arrogant, or quiet. But in reality, she's just proud of who she is and in fact, rather shy. She has this inner fear that people won't respect her for who she is or treat her differently because of her level, creating the allusion of shyness.
In sync with her powers, she's also a rather calm, even as a child. Even in the hardest situations, she always keeps a sharp mind until you hit a nerve.
As difficult as it may seem, Evelyne does have other emotions. Its not uncommon for a teenage girl. If you happen to hit a nerve, such as insulting or doing something to harm someone she loves or something uneeded, Eve cane be as mean as a snake. Always being able to think light on her feet, she can spit out words with venom that she may regret saying later on, but bring across her point.
Other Information: Evelyne is very friendly with both the lower levels and the dayclass students and treats them the way she treats everyone else, but does prefer to be around fellow level b's.
IC Background: Biography: The Desmarais lineage goes back to the 1300's, around the time of Philippe VI de Valois, le Fortuné (Philip Vl of Valois, the fortunate) They were a proud clan and was one of the highest families in France, working well with both the French Monarchy and the Senate. Though, they were known for their kindness and pasifist ideas between different species. Often, they would visit the poor regions of the country, bringing food and and money to help them get by, especially during outbreaks of starvation and influenza.
Around the 1500's Alexandre Desmarais was born with an unsatisfied thirst for power. During his reign over the Desmarais Clan, they almost collapsed until he was over thrown by Fredric Gaston Desmarais. He worked hard to return it to its orgiginal strength and the power it deserved, not through blood-thirsty greed. To unite clans, he even married a woman by the name of Fleur Corrine Morel. They were blessed with two children, Daniel Fredric and his younger sister, Evelyne Marie.
Evelyne Marie Desmarais was born on May 1st in Paris. As she grew up, she touched the hearts of many. As a child, she was rather sickly but soon became a strong young lady. Daniel and Eve were practically inseperable. When ever she was scared, tired, or sick, they would curl up on a chair next to fireplace where he would read her fairy tales, her favorite being the story of Snow White. Because of her appearance personality, and favorite story, she earned the nickname of Blanche Neige, given to her by her mother.
When she was 5 years of age, the family transferred to the Desmarais manor in Bordeaux, France.
Though she loved her family, she often worried them by running off. Evelyne was often found in the garden, exploring the gathering of flowers and trees or playing with the animals that wandered in her path. She had a gentle spirit, and often brought home injured or sick animals where her mother would help her heal them. Lynn eventually moved on to become an apprentice healer.
Often times when someone was sick or dieing, Fleur would recieve a call and she would take even to the home of the person. Eve would sit by their side, comforting them until they were better or if they couldn't be saved, passed away.
It was hard for her to see so many people die. But that never stopped her. She never showed her pain or her worry, only her calm and happy spirit.
Around the time of her 16th birthday, her father was the next one to feel her healing as he became sick with a run in from the Hunters Association. She stayed by his side and sang to him until the day he was healed.
Besides having the spirit of a healer, Evelyne was a rather talented girl. By the time she was 10 years old, she could play both piano and the violin. Taught by her mother who had always loved music. She spent countless hours in the library, reading about far away countries and filling her head with knowledge. Even as a young teenager, she could have a mature conversation with an adult refering to many different subjects her Aunt Adrienne should not be in a girl of her ages mind. Often times, she would help he brother, who was 3 years older than her, with something that was troubling him
The older she grew, the more her country seemed to change. When she went back to her birthplace of Paris, she always made sure to go to the farmers market and small shops for something she needed before she went to big-name companies.
She had many suitors, though none she ever favored. Eve always loved making new friends, though many were men because she felt the girls were a little too feminine and didn't have a kind heart or a thirst for adventure.
Though he loved his daughter very much, Fredric wanted her to see the world and for the world to see her beauty, love, and sharp mind. Going along with the pasifism, he sent her to Cross Academy, where he hoped she could learn more about her kind and touch the hearts of both the fellow vampire and human students.

Character Goals:
Powers, Abilities and Notable Skills: Evelyne has the ability to calm someone's mind with her touch and her crystal blue eyes. As she grew up, she often helped in hospitals and medical wards to calm patients minds so a procedure could be done. It did annoy her when she traveled to America and her skill was said to be exorcism by foolish humans.
RP Sample: The room went silent as the beautiful, young vampire entered the room. Even in a place of dying, there seemed to be a sense of calm that appeared and creeped in like a thief, as if trailing at her heel. Reflecting her nickname of Snow White, her pale complexion was brought out by a simple white dress, hair tied into a messy bun by a red ribbon, lips red as blood and hair as black as night. She was beautiful. And her name was Evelyn.
Carefully, she approached the dieing child and knelt by their bedside, carefully brushing the hair away that was sticking to the sweat upon her brow. The poor thing had been attacked by a Level E, deep wounds embedded into her stomach. Not knowing what else to do, they called upon Eve's mother. "What is your name?" the French girl murmered. The frightened brown eyes of the child met with the soothing blue eyes of the Aristocrat, her ragged breathing becoming less shallow. "Sophie..." A smile tugged at Evelyn's small mouth. "That's a beautiful name. Your a very pretty young girl. Do you know why?" Sophie's small hand reached up and touched the cheek of the vampire. "Because of my face?..." With a shake of her head, Eve reached up and took the small hand in her own gentle one. She carefully placed the pair of hands on the child's chest, right where her heart was. "Physical beauty is but one characteristic. You are beautiful because of who you are. You are kind and gentle, just like a princess. You have touched so many people's hearts in a span of 9 years."
A smile played across the dieing girl face, a single tear sliding down her cheek. But it was immediatly stopped as young Miss Desmarais wiped it away with her thumb. "Never be afraid, Sophie." Evelyn knew this girlwas going to die. There was no stopping it, as much as it pained her. But she could at least make it less painful. She unclasped the necklace that hung around her neck, placing it around the child's own. It was a small, silver cross, a small diamond in the middle. Wrapping her hands around the small, fragile ones she began to sing a lullaby Madame Desmarais would sing when Eve was younger.
Dodo, l’enfant do,L’enfant dormira bien viteDodo, l’enfant do L’enfant dormira bientôt. Une poule blanche Est là dans la grange. Qui va faire un petit coco* Pour l’enfant qui va fair’ dodo. Dodo, l’enfant do, L’enfant dormira bien vite Dodo, l’enfant do L’enfant dormira bientôt. Tout le monde est sage Dans le voisinage Il est l’heure d’aller dormir Le sommeil va bientôt venir.
As Evelyn sang the song for the second time, the breathing of Sophie slowed and her eyes fluttered shut. Tears streamed down the face of the vampire, but her voice did not choke and her expression did not change. The rising and falling of the childs chest stopped, but the Aristocrat made sure to finish the song. Once it was over, she set the girls hands down gently and leaned forward, pressing her soft mouth against the child's forehead. "Sleep well, Sophie." Pulling the hood of her cloak over her dark hair, she gave one last glance to the child who she was able to give a peaceful death. Gazing across all the stricken faces in the room, she bowed her head, blew Sophie a kiss, and left the home, venturing out into the snow. ~*~ "We're here, Miss Desmarais." Evelyn looked up from her latest book, Alice in Wonderland. The fantastical world that lay just beyond a rabbit hole fascinated her along with the Chershire cat. He seemed filled mystery, having the ability to vanish on the spot along with his grin and the occasional riddle that escaped his mouth. "Merci monsieur" Carefully, she stepped out of the black BMW. There as no need to retrieve any luggage, since they were already delivered to the Academy just a few days ago.
Eve made her way down the path, finger tips brushing the hem of her dress, wedges clicking on the stone path. The moon dormitory seemed to loom over her ominously. With her chin lifted both proudly and confident she made her way up the steps and opened the large mahogany doors. The entryway was a beautiful, a crystal chandelier hanging in the center of the room and huge staircases leading to the dorms. Her fellow students were in class at the moment but she would meet them in due time. A smile crept across her red mouth. This was an adventure she had been waiting for since she was a child.
