I apologize if this isn't the place to put this, but I had an idea for a sub-plotline. The clubs haven't gotten completely off the ground yet, it looks like, but I had an idea for what could merge into one. A lot of high schools in the real world have low power broadcast radio stations, and I can only imagine what Cross Academy students would do with one. Anyone else think it is a fair idea? |

I like the idea. Do you have a particular structure or plot in mind? You could do weekly updates and have live events and such! That would be very exciting. You can always submit an application to make a new one here. (: Edited by Daddy Longlegs, Sep 27 2011, 09:36 AM.

Live events certainly sound like a great idea, and I'm sure that a lot of people will want to compete for some live airtime. If I were to apply for a club, would I put Makyuri down as the head? I could assume he's started it. Knowing him, he probably would have gotten start up money from gambling =P Is anyone else interested? |

Yes, since you started it, you would be the head? Unless you got another character as the head. Your club could also have a teacher backing it for support, although it doesn't necessarily have to be a live player, I think. |

Dx Ahh I'm such a baka! I forgot to mention about the VK drama CD I read about a year ago. This drama CD features Cross Academy's own Broadcasting club in which Kana, and the Night Class gang are the featured hosts. The Broadcasting Club is specially made for fanservice directed towards the Day Class. Thank you very much for that, I wasn't aware that there were 'real' Cross Academy broadcasts! I'm going to definitely give all of these Broadcasting Club releases a listen; I'm certain they'll be very useful for setting up this storyline. After all, I can certainly see Night Class fan service as part of the canon storyline. By the way, I'm starting an open thread for Makyuri's recruitment efforts. Would you like to join? Thank you very much; I've started the sign up thread here: Radio Recruiting By the way, I know it might sound a bit overbearing, but I thought it was fair to add that people who don't have licenses to do so should not make their own radio broadcasts. Regular FM stations in real life are licensed so they don't interfere with other stations, and tampering with licensed frequencies is a crime in real life. Of course, I'm playing it so that in character Cross Academy has been approved to be a low power broadcaster, but I don't want to make it look like I would ever encourage anyone to mess around unlawfully in the real world. |
