Guide to the Nations section![]() Nations section is obviously the most important one in the Nation RPG. From here can be found the threads of player nations, NPC nations and other relevant topics. In the nation threads, the players shall write about their nations in differing depths. The most basic data shown should be the filled-out nation creation chart, formulated as it appears in the example nation thread (coming soon!). You cannot the play the game fully without them! In addition, these will be used when putting together the fate of a nation during a timeleap. The admins and moderators will have it easier, if the required information is laid out in plain sight and not hidden amidst unnecessary information. Excluding unique international events like conferences and high-profile meetings and wars, everything you do with your or someone else's nation happen inside a nation thread. If you wish to describe the daily lives of your monarchs, or of the common folk, or make a news report or cover clandestine cloak-and-dagger actions, the nation thread is the place for them. In addition, vital statistics like population or provinces will be kept in the nation thread, as it is possible for them to change during game play. At the end of an era, the nation thread can be left alone in the old section or if needed, moved into the new section and edit the new changes in accordingly. Probably the easiest way is to leave the old thread alone, as the format can be copied and pasted into the new thread and blanks filled in. It also helps when one thread doesn't have posts spanning several eras over timejumps. |
