Cliffs of Ascension
The only access for attackers to the Ultimatum's keep is by climbing these cliffs that extend a hundred miles to the sky. Jagged granite protrudes here, and even the slightest slip can split open a limb. The only cover provided here from the keep above is the very cliff face itself, with the levels of rock from top to bottom. This pillar of stone is actually the core of a volcano, and inside is a large vein of magma.

The Grave Plains
Named because of the thousands of dead bodies below the grassy surface of this amazingly flat plain. It sits in the open below the Ultimatum, and is the only way on the ground to make it to the castle's base. It is a stark difference between the Cliffs of Ascension, due to its grassy, healthy features and the Cliffs' hard, knotty stone. It is thought that it is so flat here due to a magical explosion that cleared away all jagged imperfections.

The Deceptive Gates
Imagine the Ultimatum's walls like a broken circle. One of the broken sides is bent inward, so that it sits behind the other wall, with about ten meters of space between them. In this space, sideways to the cliffs and Elevator, lies the Deceptive Gates.

Hall of Anvils
A large building inside the castle walls that supplies the castle and most of the human empire with weapons. Large furnaces surround the building, kept hot by the volcanic vein inside the pillar the city rests on. Guns and knives are created here, as well as its biggest production, explosives. Hundreds of skilled crafters work and test new weapons here.

Sheppard's Elevator
A mastermind, one of the very founders of the portal to this round, created this elevator, which leads from the bottom of the plains straight to the top, in the middle of the keep. It has a steel tube, inlaid with rubber materials that uses the heat and pressure of the volcanic vein to propel the cramped cartridge to the top of the keep. To get down it uses something called the "Sheppard Heat Dispersal Method" to get back down and remain at the bottom for people to enter.
