As with the US military of the 20th century, there has always been a Corps of Engineers – a group who builds bridges, fixes machines, and solves engineering problems. This group solves engineering problems in space that are too complicated, or take too much time, for a larger starship crew to handle. When the USS Enterprise-E disables a deserted alien battlestation, for example, it is the SCE that comes to investigate it. This series centers on the SCE crew of the Starbase Vahalla Shipyard, located in the Beta Anteries with the USS Montgomery, Interceptor-class ship that serves as the transportation of the SCE team. The Valhalla SCE team reports to Captain Max Fullam, who serves as their liaison with Starfleet Command and also pitches in when his vast store of knowledge can be of help. Along for the ride is a mixture of officers from different departments including Security and Medical. Edited by Sabrina Corning, Nov 18 2008, 09:00 PM.

I like the idea, and the ship pics/ size.... Even if I still have some real reservations about calling anything but an interceptor an 'interceptor class' So.. we're sticking to one team... with only one officer? |

Yep one main officer in charge of all of us... the crew (except for NPC's) will be lower ranking officers and Noncom with no one being higher then a Lt for now, figured it would give all of us a bit of room to grow in and allow for some charecter building and just plain fun writting ![]() |

just concerned that.. realistically speaking even senior non coms would have precious little reason to socialise with officers of any rank...? i know that fed service is more egalitarian but.. ahh hell we'll work it out

Why wouldn't anyone want to socialise with Mhairi? ![]() It's sounding like this could be a lot of fun
