James slung his rucksack over his back and walked directly out of Camdem tube station. He scratched rubbed his jawline breifly gazing at the strange mix of people gathered at the market. He simply shook his head in dismay when in reality he wasn't too different from them. Living in the wrong time perhaps, out of place with everything else. Not bothering to comtemplate the thought too much he took a right and walked along to the local bar. Entering the bar full of people just as strange as those outside, he sat on a bar stool and asked for Jack Daniels and a bag of salted peanuts. It was only after he had ordered that he really wondered why peanuts. James simply shrugged it off and downed the whiskey unnescerily. The clock continued to tick away and time went on, people buzzing about while he stood still. Soon the bar was nearly empty, bar a few last patrons and the bartender. The bar door opened and a cool breeze from the night swept in. A figure stood in the doorway breifly before entering. |

The cold breeze slowly drifted throughout the city in the night. It wasn't so cold that you would need multiple layers of clothes but you would need a jacket or coat of some kind. Yet, to Xander, the cold didn't matter but neither did the warmth. He tried to sigh, with great effort. Forcing out a pitiful, half attempted breath. The downsides to immortality. Would knew you could miss the small things so easily. The thoughts whirled around Xander's mind for a moment, as he stood perfectly still in the public parking lot for the local supermarket. The reason he was in such a stupid place for what he was, was because of his business. Somebody owed him A LOT of money, so he came to collect. L He pulled out his car keys in a swift, inhuman movement and began to walk towards the back of the parking lot. Passing by humans glanced at him, both male and female. Some awe struck by his beauty, others jealous of it. Either way, none of their opinions mattered to him. They were just... Well, something else. However, one female did walk awkwardly close by. Her long, dark hair whipping up from the breeze, catching Xander in his face. It didn't affect him, but she saw it flicker into his eyes, so he had to put on an act. "Ouch, right in the eye! That's gunna sting for a while." He spoke casually, almost sarcastically. Luckily, she didn't notice. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" She apologized, slightly more dramatic than needed. Xander grinned, slyly. He knew he had her, if he wanted her. "Hey don't worry about it. It wasn't anything major." He replied, with a small, cheeky smile. She smiled back, lowering her gaze and flicked her hair back, trying to impress. "I'm Faye, what's your name?" She spoke softly, looking straight into his purple eyes. He saw her lips mouth the word 'wow'. "Faye huh? That's a pretty name." He flirted back, speaking kindly. "I'm Xander, and may I saw how gorgeous you are?" He grinned as he replied. The smile that automatically covered her lips told him the work was done. "Aww thank you! You're cute." She answered, lowering her head slightly but keeping eye contact. The more they spoke, the hungrier Xander grew. "Hey Faye, listen. I was just going to this pub down the road. I was wondering if you wanted to come for a drink with me?" He put on his pleading look, and without a doubt, it worked. "Umm sure! I'd love to." She couldn't hide the excitment in her voice, even if she tried. "Then let's go, I'll drive." He strolled on, with Faye next to him. Eventually, they reached his car, a brand new lamborgini murcielago. They both got in, and set off to towards the bar. The drive was longer than he expected, but then he did have to stop for a snack on the way. It was very delicious. Xander stepped out of the car, alone. Wiping the corners of his mouth, to remove the red substance from them. "Ahhh, I enjoyed that." He grinned and proceeded towards the bar. Pushing the door open and pausing for a split second to look around. 'Not that busy' he thought to himself. He stepped inside, letting the door slam shut behind him and headed straight for the bar. Xander noticed a man at the bar, wearing some old style army clothes. Kind of strange in this day and age. None the less, he sat down two seats away from him at the bar. "Bartender! I'll have a double vodka with redbull. Hold the ice." The bartender looked at him once and asked for I.d. Xander grinned and met his gaze. The air between the two men seemed to blur slightly, as if something was passing through it. No human eye could have noticed it. "You know I don't need I.d." The air went still after he spoke and the bar tender fetched his drink, without asking for money. Xander picked up his drink, smelling it. With a quick nod to the man in the army gear, followed by a smirk. He sipped his drink to hide the smell and taste of the fresh blood which lingered on his tongue. [One thing, Jedi Mind Trick. xP] James, having just asked for another whiskey, tapped agressivly on the bar. The humans left in the bar wondered how he was staying sat up after the amount he'd drunk. Every so often he would look around but apart from that he made no contact with anyone else. Then Xander walked in. Downing the current glass of whiskey infront of him James glanced over his shoulder when the doors opened, he saw nothing but a human; a light coloured skin, a warm blood smell but the thing that caught his eye was the mans clothes. Looking at the mans rich atire James happily made the judgement he was not from around the camden area. It was clear the other people in the bar, and the bartender knew aswell. Your clothes say your not from around here, this is a very local bar. James would say in quite a hard agressive voice but with such calm body language, shrugging as he spoke and continuing to face the bar. |

Effie followed the streets slowly, keeping her hood up and head downwards to not draw any attention; her deep blue eyes always seemed to draw people in, often described as ‘captivating’ and her figure was one to be admired. She kept to the left side as far as physically possible to the stage where she would climb over dustbins to keep her arm pressed against the wall. Her clothes were beginning to wear on the arm from the continuous rubbing, causing small grazes to form and small beads of precious blood to rise to the surface to be quickly knitted over by fresh skin. Effie believed if she stuck to the left side she wouldn't get lost, if it worked in mazes then it might just work in a city she didn’t know. She closed her eyes questioning her own instincts that brought her here; she was able to follow the path of the left wall easily and released a soundless sigh from her mouth. She had fed well this night, often feeding on the thugs that had thought her defenceless but she still felt drained like something was wrong. She stopped in her steps as though she had banged into someone, something in her had told her stop. Opening her eyes she gazed around, noticing the bar. She studied the outside for a moment, looking over the building brick by brick as though looking for something. It seemed to draw her in or maybe that was her gut talking... As she entered the bar she was surprised about how quiet it was, she hoped she was mould into the shadows like she usually did. Dropping her hood, she kept her head down as she sat herself on the furthest seat away from anyone. As she ordered a glass of white wine, during this she lifted her eyes to view the bartender, it seemed as though there was a conversation between the two, but neither moved their lips, she turned her head down again as he poured the drink for her. She looked nervous thumbing around for the coins to pay the bartender although it was only an act. After paying him, she sipped on the wine although not partial to it herself, she thought it seemed the ‘norm’. |

Xander sat firmly at the bar. His third drink sat half full infront of him. He could hear the mutters in the bar from people talking about him. His expensive suit making him stick out like a sore thumb. He grinned. Xander loved the attention, he was used to it through his lifestyle. He heard the new arrival of the girl coming in the bar. The way she walked was.. Different. Extremely quiet which he thought was weird, but shrugged it off. Xander turned his head slightly to get a good look at her. She was surprising good looking, with the body to match. He tried to catch her gaze but didn't seem to have much luck, so returned to his drink. The army guy which sat close by muttered something in which Xander knew could only be directed at him. Xander was silent for a moment, sipping his drink, then he spoke back. "I could say the same for you, Mr army man." Xander turned his head to face the man with his bright purple eyes, his expression blank, which formed into a small and cocky grin. |

James to noticed the new arrival in the bar, also noticing her looks. However with the time James had spent away from females he seemed to loose the ability to care much for them. The only females he would of seen were vietnamese prostitutes and he would rarely treat them well. He knew well enough that that kind of behaviour would just get him into trouble back in this country. After another drink being passed over the bar to him, in exchange for more of his easily gained money he rubbed his jaw before replying to Xander. "I might just like the look." James decided to keep it short and then went on to start drinking his latest whiskey. |

Xander watched the man, there was something strangley interesting about him. "Maybe you do.. But's a bit.. Out of sorts for the year 2012." Xander grinned to himself. "Living in the wars still bud." Xander kept his grin, while sipping from his glass. It was time to test this guy, find out some things about him. Also, he was keeping an eye on the female. Awkwardly sat at a table, alone. A girl of that age, in those clothes, in this messed up world. Should be the perfect victim for males in this area. She also had something up her sleeve, like Mr. Army. Xander was a main guy in this part of London, he wanted to know who entered this area. |

Effie felt their eyes upon her briefly, she shuffled uncomfortably crossing her right leg over the left, although she would have liked to have the confidence that matched with her confident dress wear, her self esteem is talking to people was lower than most. She was a lady of few words; only opening to those she really knew however she wasn’t afraid to draw a weapon when she needed. Often choosing the violent option rather than talk to the people around her. For a brief moment, she raised her head to quickly scan the two, her mind taking in details about them, like their attire and accent quickly before looking back to her drink. She put them down mentally as being slightly ‘weird’ |

James purposly turned his body sligtly away from the girl as to not let her distract him from his nights pointless drinking and other unnescesary activities such as eating peanuts. He for the first time looks up and met Xanders eyes. His gaze quickly turned back to his whiskey which he downed promptly. He turned his head so he could direct words to Xander but also so he didn't have to face him fully. "If you do not live in the wars, you die." After a breif pause and handing over more money from his near unlimited supply of five pound notes he muttered under his breath "Isn't everything in this day out of sorts anwyay" |

Effie forced a sigh, which once again was soundless; she was attempting to listen to Xander and James although it seemed pointless she was too far to hear most of it even for her good hearing. She shuffled again, trying to find a position of ease, part of her wanting to slink further back into the shadows. She finished her wine; she pulled a small face of disgust at the taste, making mental note not to order it again. As she pushed her hair behind her shoulders, she sat up resting her arm on the chair; it would seem to most the alcohol was taking an effect. Effie used this moment to scan everyone in the room, checking around for exits and where everyone was. |
