For those who care, Toonami's lineup is about to shift again. They'll be removing Big O season 2 and Cowboy Bebop and replacing them with FLCL and Ghost in the Shell, respectively. No word yet on whether or not IGPX will re-run or be pulled out for something else.

Additionally, they ran a contest the other night for material related to the anime series Sword Art Online, offering the series on BluRay (I think), a chance to score a card game box based on the series, and a contraption for the PS4 (among other things). I have no idea if this was a one night only thing or an ongoing thing, but if you're interested in it then i may be worth watching the series this Saturday if for no other reason than to see if the contest is still ongoing.

Even more Toonami News:

The lineup is gonna expand to the 11.5 slot starting in 2014, at which time the series Space Dandy will air on the block.

Additionally, in lieu of the usual lineup, it appears that the Toonami team intends to run a trio of movies in December. For now, the team is keeping tight lipped on what they will be showing, so further updates on that front will occur as information becomes available.

Lastly, it appears that they will be doing something special for Daylight Savings Time, since we get our hour back during Toonami time.

Amazing find! It's been a while since I've watched television, since I'm rarely home these days, but I'll definitely check it out.

Sam I am.
For anyone curious, they used the extra time they had to air Korgoth of Barbaria, some retarded short called King Star King (it resembled some kind of fucking stupid combination of Adventure Time and Superjail), and Kick-Heart.

This coming Saturday's episode of FLCL is Marquis de Carabas, which is the third episode.

For those interested, Toonami trackers are now reporting that sometime in January. No exact date has been announced just yet, but to clear out room for the upcoming series Toonami will discontinue showing Naruto November 30.
