Ooh, now that they will release on PS 3 I will be able to play these games. My computer would not be able to run it smoothly so I was hoping for something like this. Sixty bucks for all three games is not at all a bad price.

Oh, so Bioware finally pulled its head out of its ass and is giving us ME1 on PS3? Might pick this up now.

It wasn't Bioware that kept it off of Playstation, Sony believed that it was too old of a game to import to PSN - this coming from the company that's making a killing off of games released as early as 1996. The major events and decisions of ME1 could be done via the interactive comic that was on ME2, so PS3 players weren't missing any story, but there's small things in ME1 that everyone loved. Those of us with 2 & 3 can get ME1 through PSN around the time this comes out, but I'm still getting the trilogy set.

They haven't announced anything for the Wii U though, and that's agitating a lot of those players. Dark Horse did another interactive comic to recap the events of 2 as well as 1, but I'm sure those players would prefer to start from the beginning. I think may down the line, but that will also consist of having to recode the entire controller scheme for ME1 and ME2. I'm not surprised there's nothing lined up on the Wii U yet.

Dang it Nick, ya beat me to it! The best news of the week (for me, anyways) besides having an official N7 Day (November 7th!!!)

Fans of both PS3 and 360 may want to do their homework on this one. The player community is bigger on the 360 for ME3 multiplayer, plus they benefit from notifications of the events and war statistics. PS3 users get shit (thank you Sony). Unless they're on Bioware Social Network, Facebook, or have friends addicted to ME3, nobody knows about the events. However, the control scheme is way better on the PS3, and the system blasts through the graphics processing while the 360 lags behind a bit during heavy firefights (online only).

Yeah, and then there's dealing with Microsoft. They have a lot more downtime for maintenance, which they typically do on the weekends - during N7 Events. Sony at least has the sense to do it on Monday or Tuesday. If they're not planning on playing multiplayer, then it won't matter.

I'll add that playing the multiplayer on ME3 doesn't even require starting the game. A few of the people we do the events with have several trophies for kills/biotics/ammo effects, and they haven't even created their character yet.
