Sam I am.
Outlaw Star was one of Toonami's finest series. As I mentioned before, I would recommend Monster, but my issue with it is its length. So, I could (if we decide upon this) bring the first DVD set, and we could go through all fifteen episodes in it for everyone to get a taste of it.

I think that the only thing that we should consider stopping here is suggestions for the meetings, any other recommendations should be fine shouldnt they?

What about Sengoku Basara? Is that any good? I haven't heard much about it other than that it's based off Devil Kings, but it pops up from time to time online.

Sanjo:

First of all -- YAY FOR OTHER SAILOR MOON FANS!

Second of all, I think I can think of a couple of witty anime if you're looking for things for your own collection. For humor, the first to come to mind is one called Saiyuki. Good voice acting, fairly good humor throughout a relatively serious story line.

Another that comes to mind is an oldie but a goodie: Ranma 1/2.

Third to come to mind is Bakuretsu Hunter. Translated, it's called Monster Hunter, but you might have a hard time finding it under that title because of games. Hardly a serious story line, and heavy on the eye candy for most episodes if that's a plus for you. To put it simply, nerdy girls transform into S&M mistresses.

Anyway, hope those are good suggestions for anyone.
