I've only caused negative things to happen. It's better to not say anything and cause no trouble than to speak and cause drama. |

@Ruben - Nah, most of the drama died over the week. Just leave it in case anyone wants to post about the game, though redirect moderation questions through my PM box. One thing I'll give to WoW is the ability to solo. FFXI has been trying to make that slightly easier every update, but they still can't offer a positive leveling experience without having to track down someone who wants to do it with you. Really sucks when you're short on time or if you have interruptions. I can't play at all since Raphael came along. Imagine 5 really pissed off people having to wait on the next fight because the White Mage had to drop the computer to find out why the kid's screaming. I've been in those parties...bunch of assholes. Haven't really played lately, but now that I think about it, something like WoW or Guild Wars fits me pretty good. |

Ultimately, this comment won't matter because no one really cares, but the Cataclysm expansion streamlined the questing system from levels 1 to about 50 or 55, meaning most questgivers offer chains. Running them to completion will usually end up with you learning about where to go next for more quest chains. This is prevalent for the level range I mentioned before and picks up again once you hit 80. The process repeats with the new zones added with the introduction of Cataclysm. More often than not, they'll give you a dungeon quest, but they're accomplished by simply using the Dungeon Finder and running whatever place you need to. |

Not exactly true persay, I am actually playing WOW on a private server right now. It is free and my friend who went to the meeting on Friday, Jorge pretty much hooked me up with it. I am not currently playing as we are trying to get my computer to play it sucessfully and have tried it on some computers already. I am enjoying it with what little experience I have and like my paladin thusfar. It is an interesting game to say the least. |

Pallies are pretty cool and are effective tanks, but I personally don't use them. I have one, but it's sort of a given. Everyone has a pally alt. I'd like to make him DPS, but I'd also like to learn about tanking. If anything, I'll end up tanking with him and have Retribution as my off spec (you can have two sets of talents starting at a certain level and switch between them when you want, outside of battles). I may also give my warrior a tanking off spec. This is low-level WoW speak. You really don't want to read more in-depth bullshit regarding it, because you'll have no clue what I'm talking about. I'll spare you that, for sometimes Doom is merciful. At least, to people who don't play the game. Other people might get it to a degree, if they've progressed that far with any of their characters. I usually do a Pally tank on different MMOs. Except for FFXI, I ended up doing White Mage just cuz healers where in short supply and I was pretty much the only person with teleport spells. My Starcraft game came in, and came with the base WoW. Given my current family situation, I hardly have the time for parties, which is why I haven't been able to really finish FFXI. I've heard it's pretty easy to solo WoW though, so that private server is looking really good. |

Like I said, solo leveling is extremely fast and easy. The only part that starts to get slow is 60 to 80, and then it picks up again. The problem is that Blizzard hasn't done anything to make leveling in Outland or Northrend any faster, so they just feel like a collective chore. Maybe with a few more patches things will be fixed. |
