Seeing how FFXI has already been discussed, XIV is still broken, and how mentioning that other big MMO gets you kicked, what is there left? Well, as most of you are aware, DC Universe is right around the corner (next week) and is currently shaping up to be something big...

Question is, are you going to go out of your way to give this game a shot, or avoid it? I mean, after all this is another mmo that is going to be $15 a month, whether you get it on the PS3 or PC (of course, this isn't the first time a console mmo is going to charge extra... PSO, FFXI, etc...) and if you aren't much of a DC fan, it is still a bit of a slap to the face since we first got this...

Then for it to be canceled two years later and then this is the best Marvel has come up with...

Sure does feel like a shot through the heart huh?

Personally, I don't really care much for the DC universe... All I know is that Superman is the most unbalanced superhero, and batman is the most badass superhero... the rest of my dc knowledge comes from the Superfriends, Justice league, and any of the batman/superman cartoons and/or any movies that are released, and that isn't saying much... Still, if anyone in the group is planning on giving this a shot, we could see what could be done... Who knows, this could be the next mmo the group may try out since everyone seems to try to kill you if you say World of War-

Can't say I'm very much into DC. I know Batman, and I had an inclination maybe Superman was involved. That's about it. I'm traumatized from all the superhero games of the SNES era, so I'm not too keen on the new stuff either. I heard the DC Mortal Kombat was a disaster as well, and I was kinda looking forward to that.

So yeah, FFXI is dying and FFXIV is so broken that the PS3 version is getting delayed and the PC remains free of charge till they get it together. I haven't had a problem for paying to play on console games though, provided the company uses the funds for regular upkeep of the servers and stuff for the fans. Square-Enix has done a fantastic job of that, so even though I haven't logged in since October when Raphael was born, I'm still paying in. If the cost isn't bad, and VGAC is willing to give it a shot (meaning for than 2 or 3 people) then I'll sign up for a few months. Granted, I probably won't be able to power level like most other people do and I'll get left behind, but we'll see what the setup looks like. It'd be fun to get stuff together online.
