There are parts that are visually horrifying enough to be awesome, like Maria killing her mother, but Higurashi was so much better. It managed to be more coherent and maintain the creepy vibe throughout. That's what made me keep wanting to watch the next episode. |

the pacing on higurashi was indeed better than on seacats. its a shame but studio DEEN rarely does a good job on anything they put out. they're work on higurashi was average, but when it came to seacats it was down right horrendous.

Haven't seen anything from studio DEEN, but I like this one. Maybe I'm the only one in there that's noticed, but they've covered most of the famous philosophers. Currently, they're dealing with the acknowledgment thing in pretty much every word spoken by Epicurus. Or maybe Philosophy class is just screwin' with me. Ah, good times. I've been studying too much. |

I've enjoyed this anime a lot, actually. It's caught my attention much better than higurashi. I'm not too keen on the retelling of the story, though. I understand what they're doing - and at least in this last installment there's a lot more being said - but I'm sure they could've done without one of the chapters and still gotten the story told. |

all chapters/sections were necessary for umineko. it doesnt seem that way in the anime but if you go through the entire VN you'd see how it all interconnects. |

chill, i'm gonna buy episode's 4 and 8 along with the fighting game after jan. with that the collection should be complete since the ep 4 disc has 1-4 and the ep 8 one has 5-8. if anything you'll just have to wait forever for the translation patch |
