Tharien's magic lashed around wildly, to Aerendis it would just be a slight caressing sensation, but to the humans it would be severely unpleasant. Snarling slightly he responded to his companion, "See this Star of Corellon that happens to be floating above my forehead? That little orc fucker had it...in his hand" he nodded towards the human with the axe, even as he gestured at the spear wielding one, a few muttered words trapping the spear wielder within his pinioning vortex. Without a second passing after the first spell was cast, a magic missile was flung at the axe wielder, who they could focus on for a while as his companion was indisposed. |

"In his hand?" There wasn't anything more Aerendis could say and the fact his grip loosened enough for the human to wrestle away his axe was enough to convey his feelings. The spear wielder was dragged into the vortex and the paladin turned on him immediately. Raising his hammer he swatted at the trapped spearman damaging him even further than the vortex already was then emitted a prayer amplifying it by the star's presence. It glittered and blessed the two Eladrin with increased vitality. Afterward the vortex dropped the human it was carrying rather abruptly but it still managed to lash at out Aerendis dinging off his armor harmlessly while he writhed on the ground. With a mighty shout the axe wielding man sidestepped the magic missile and dealt a cheap blow attacking while Aerendis had his back turned knocking him into the ground. Casually hurling another magic missile at the spearman, Tharien turned his attention to the axe wielder, the main target of his rage. "You are going to die horribly" he hissed, his eyes glowing with inner fire, his long hair flaring up as though gravity no longer effected it. Slamming his staff into the ground, the small Eladrin began chanting, casting the Hunter's curse on the axeman, forcing every iota of his rage into the ritual as he tried to subdue the human with his will alone, his aura bearing down upon the man at the same time. Hopefully this would give Aerendis the time to recover from what had to be a nasty blow. |

It was a casual missile but also was affected by the wizard's rage whistling as it burst from his body and spinning wildly until coming down on Aerendis the minor force making his mind clear as to what just happened. Springing to his feet he attempted to finish the spearman raising his hammer high pointed towards the star a dawning realization fell over him and his mouth opened uttering his first word of Supernal. With that a beam of moonlight shot out from the star itself decimating his target and leaving it barely alive. The axe wielder lifted his axe trying to swing it at Aerendis again but suddenly began to feel heavy particularly in his legs, the heaviness crept up his body until he no longer had the muscle strength left to swing properly. Instead of attacking he was forced to strike the ground in front of himself in order to stay standing. "What are you guys?" He whined seemingly pained by even the amount of strength it took to speak |

Even in his rage Tharien made a note to apologise for hitting Aerendis once they had dealt with the human refuse that had dared desecrate the Star of Corellon. This time he contained himself as he flew another magic missile at the spearman, hopefully finishing him off, before turning his attention to the subdued axeman. "You said it yourself, I'm a wizard, and you meddled in things you shouldn't have" Tharien hissed dangerously, spitting out a word in Abyssal as he cast Scorching burst while concentrating on restraining the human. His aim was not to kill, but to cause pain. |

Tharien's magic missile easily dispatched it's target and then a column of flame erupted under the axe wielder of course making him cry out in agony cursing the two Eladrin in Riedran tongue. After the flames died he still stood clambering for a scroll which he drew from a satchel that survived the flame. "Come on out you damned beast!" Throwing the paper to the ground with all his strength a magical circle appeared nearby and a rather large frog from the blood spike rain forest pulled itself from the magical rift. It was demonic in appearance having milky white eyes appearing to be bleeding from all surfaces at all times. Aerendis was daunted by this foe stepping away from it feeling a steely fear when words cut through his senses. The words were like what Tharien spoke sometimes but seemed to chain together to form a sentence and they thundered rippling the fabrics of reality themselves around him and everyone else in the area. Turning desperately to find the source of the words he found it, the elderly Eladrin woman stood now with an obsidian staff over her head barking in Abyssal. Bringing her staff to the ground it boomed and shook the earth then she thrust it forward unleashing a large bolt of red lightning which tore into the frog spiraling it's very matter into the stream of energy being carried off to the horizon where it whistled sharply and popped showering the entire town in an overpowering red light. "These boys are our future! death cannot have them!" Her voice boomed again speaking elven tongue. |

Tharien's eyes widened as the massive, evil looking frog appeared before him, he knew he was outmatched and for a moment he felt a twinge of terror which he brutally surpressed, his chin firm as he stared down the massive creature that would surely be his end. A bolt of red lightning shot past him, ripping the creature apart, much to the small wizard's shock. Like the wind falling out of a sail, Tharien fell to his knees, the relief he felt at the creature's destruction combined with the sensation of the old woman's power overwhelming even his major motor functions. Shaking slightly he drew his new wand from the holster it had come with, pointing it unsteadily at the human before casting the premade spell built into the implement, which would hopefully end the pathetic worms life. If not Aerendis could probably do it, Tharien was pretty much out of it for now, only barely able to keep the focus on his curse so the human didn't try anything. |

The daggers attacked and lacerated the man while Aerendis muttered a short prayer vaporizing the human with the holy symbol. With that done he pushed himself off the ground using his healing hands on himself as a just in case, he did the same for Tharien and offered to help him to his feet. Turning around afterward to look at the old woman he didn't know quite what to think. Aerendis had always been teased with stories of prophecy but this was the first outside of religious fanatics to say anything like that. He was prepared to approach her but she made the first move coming towards them as she poofed her staff away. "Oh today is an odd day indeed. We knew you'd show up after humans started prominently making their presence known in the lands." She looked towards the pier mournfully and sighed before continuing to speak slowly drawing her aura back to herself. "It's hard to not to interfere with the known future... anyhow you boys best be moving along now unless there was something else you needed." Edited by Koori, Apr 24 2010, 05:33 AM.

Tharien got shakily to his feet as the elderly female approached them leaning on his staff while his body recuperated from the shock. Sliding his wand back into its holster he listened to the woman speak of the future and almost seemed to be hinting at prophesy. He bowed low to her in respect, his eyes on the ground, "thank you for your aid, I suppose we shall move on now" he phrased the last part more as a question aimed at Aerendis, his green eyes looking to the paladin to see if he agreed. Assuming he did, Tharien would bow once more and begin to head towards the path they were meant to take, lowering the Star till it floated above his hand and offering it to his companion. "Here, this is yours, do you know the best way to be able to keep it?" |

Aerendis nodded at Tharien then followed him along the path watching the holy relic float around, a most respected thing. The old woman who had turned to go her own way quickly spun on the spot having had a moment of senility or something similar. "Wait boys! I have something for you to carry that star in." The paladin halted watching the old woman scramble off to her home emerging soon after with a belt, satchel and what appeared to be a glove on top of it. She offered these things to Aerendis who surely equipped them. "With that satchel and glove your friend wont have to suspend the star with his magic. I used to be the head of an abbey but that was long ago and I no longer need these objects." With that he wore his new glove which appeared to be made of some purple cloth embroidered with undulating gold patterns and was very comfortable to have one. Nervously he reached for the star touching it with the glove and placing it very carefully into the satchel. Bowing to the old woman for the first time since they arrived he would continue on with Tharien into the pines. At about the middle of the path it would branch off towards a large shining white stone castle which was protected by a large barrier of magic. There wasn't much either of them could do about it besides look at it. Surprisingly the moonlight of the Fey was even enough in the forest for them to see just fine and it would be another while before they emerged from the other side of it. In the distance was a city surrounded by a large clearing, it had many outer and inner gates from what they could see at their vantage point. For some reason all the terrain around it was downhill looking down at the forbidden city. It must have been at least three times as large as Majharn and appeared to be mostly made of the same substance. The structures were all made of marble, gold and other precious things even towers completely made of gems. It could easily be said by anyone that the Forbidden City was the most beautiful in all Fey even shedding it's own light due to it's luster. Edited by Koori, Apr 25 2010, 02:35 AM.

Tharien stared at the Forbidden city in a state of shock and awe, he had never seen anything like it in his life. Majharn seemed like a blind being's attempt at recreating the splendour of the city based on the memory of someone who had only glimpsed at it once when compared to the elegant beauty of Corellon's city. That's not to say he hadn't seen beautiful buildings, but his only real example was the tower of the Raven Queen, and that was one building, no matter how large it was. This was a whole city, made of precious stone, metals, and gems. To one born of the Shadowfell, such a sight was nearly overwhelming to the young eladrin. "I...umm..." he said softly, unable to speak. He admitted, his respect for Corellon was probably less than it should be, but staring at the marvel before him, he couldn't find it in his heart to be anything but awed. Aerendis was going to have to do the thinking for the moment, because the young wizard was too awestruck to think clearly. |

The city was just completely amazing and Aerendis felt for Tharien when he was rendered speechless, the very aura of the city's presence shook the paladin to the core. It was not often that even exalted knights of Corellon even got to visit the city and he was being told to actually enter the place. Through his excitement he grabbed Tharien's hand with his clothed one completely oblivious to the action he'd just taken. "Come on Tharien!" His excitement pushed him forward down the hill getting ever closer to the city realizing just how large it was the closer he had gotten to it. Then he saw the row of paladins three on the left of the gate and three on the right. Slowing to a walk he felt extremely nervous coming to terms with the fact that he himself was not a great paladin, at best an over zealous elf in armor. The knights converged on the two surrounding them and checking them over some by extending their arcana. "The armored one has a star, the wizard has the aegis staff. Let them in." Now Aerendis had never believed it would be so easy to get in but was reminded that Corellon had helped them most likely on both accounts. The gates swung open revealing another set of gates inside, then through those was a large courtyard. Passed the yard they would come to the main district of the city in which many powerful elves scurried around some even stopping to pray at the extremely large marble cut statue of Corellon. If they hadn't realized it was a statue it could have been very well mistaken for the real thing. |

Tharien barely registered Aerendis taking his hand, and even once he had, it didn't bother him for some reason. He was pulled to the gates of the massive city by his excited companion, and a slight smile graced his usually downturned lips at the Paladin's happiness. The smile slipped away the moment that Aerendis slowed down, and Tharien could practically feel the nervousness radiating off of his companion. Squeezing the gloved hand holding his own in reassurance, Tharien felt a sigh of relief exit him when the rather intimidating guards let them through. Staring around the courtyard with as much awe as he had the city itself, the small wizard couldn't help but wonder, "Do you know what we're supposed to do here?", the fact that they were still holding hands had slipped his mind. |

"I'm not actually sure but we each have something that belongs to him in some way." He said gesturing carefully at the statue sheepishly beginning to approach it, a voice from the walkway left of him was that of a female guard which startled him as he got closer. His hand tightened around Tharien's again. "We've been expecting you two around here, there's no mistaking it. Today Corellon is visiting and he'll want to be seeing you as he has told us." Aerendis felt a twinge of annoyance at practically everyone in this city and it's vicinity knowing who he was like some path was set out before him. That and he was sure the female guardian had just called him weak somehow. "So Tharien I guess that leaves us waiting on a god." |

Tharien felt a slight jolt of apprehension at the female's words, Corellon himself? He had met one of the deities before, the Raven Queen no less, but that had been in the presence of his mother, and he had not been the focus of the meeting at that time. After a moment he found his voice, his own hand having clenched around Aerendis' as his mind leapt forward to consider the magnitude of just what was happening. No god bothered themselves with just any mortal, and he'd hardly call the two of them powerful at this moment, but here they were, being told that they were to be in the presence of one of the first. "Well, in that case..." Tharien gestured to Aerendis and himself, switching their clothes to something a little more appropriate. Aerendis was in a Paladin's formal outfit, strong leather boots, white hose, an elegant yet subtle blue tunic embroided with the symbol of Aerendis' faith, a silver belt that seemed to be made of vines holding it closed. A velvet cape sat on his shoulders dyed a deep indigo held by silver chains. The paladin's hammer was clasped to his belt in a way that didn't seem possible. For himself he changed into an elegant robe of deep purple, the hems stitched with white symbols that echoed those etched into his skin and beneath the high collar of his pure white undertunic showed through, embroided with silver vine patterns. A burnished bronze belt similar to Aerendis' sat upon his slim hips, and a small headpiece of the same metal was wrapped around his head, his blue-black hair free of its normal restraints now held in place by the intricate circlet. Turning green eyes to the guardian, he waited expectantly for her to lead the way. |

He jumped at his new outfit which was rather 'unprofessional' of him looking himself over once or twice. Then he looked to Tharien who's outfit had also changed the colors of Corellon being shown proudly on both of their outfits. Running a hand smoothly over his hair he subtly removed the restraint on it letting his overly long mane fall out, he shook it a few times then smiled weakly at his companion. "I suppose we couldn't of gone looking the way we did." The guardians weren't judgmental nor did they speak unless they had to, she clutched her flagged halberd at her side gesturing for the two to follow her. Briskly she walked through the city and the two were earning their fair share of looks from the other elves. Towards the diamond tower they walked which was something Aerendis was expecting in the back of his mind, the closer they got the grander the tower seemed it's base easily as large as the small settlement they had just come from. The doors were enormous and made of solid gold etched with all sorts of symbols. As the female guard left the doors clicked quietly opening silently as if they were expected by the tower itself. The inside was delicate, elegant and most of all white with red carpets and beautiful wooden furnishings inside. A man stood in front of them nearer to the center of the massive room his long silver hair tied into a single ponytail with a few locks daintily outlining his perfect features, as if by some breeze his cobalt blue cape sway in the wind. Turning to face them a man little taller than Tharien pierced their very souls with his silvery gaze while one gloved hand fondled the necklace of a crescent moon hanging around his neck. He was wearing a very deep color purple robe edged of course by silver and his skin was fair, his voice washed over them. "Tharien, Aerendis." |

Tharien's throat was dry as they walked into the audience chamber, his heart pounding erratically in his chest with every step they had taken. Even the grandeur of the Forbidden City and the Diamond tower did not distract him from his nervousness. He may not have been particularly respectful to Corellon in his heart, having been raised to the service of the Raven Queen, and she was his true godess, but now he stood before the being that could be considered the father of his race, and the patron god of his own power, Tharien felt all the discourteous thoughts flee his mind. He wondered how Aerendis was taking this, before him stood the Paladin's god, the source of his strength and the one he had made holy vows to. Tharien's right hand, still clasped in Aerendis' left, tightened slightly around the larger, more callused appendage, both seeking and giving comfort. Swallowing noiselessly as the god spoke their names, Tharien extended his magic outward, searching for Corellon's own power, the tendrils of his magic inquisitive, tentative, like a child reaching out for a parent's hand just to make sure they were really there and not just an illusion. It was an unconcious action, and the small wizard didn't even realise he was doing it. Bowing deeply, Tharien looked to the ground, not quite sure how to address the god, he chose to treat the first as he would another wizard, hoping that he wouldn't offend him. Yes, he was usually quite irreverent, but one did not act that way around any god...it was a good way of being granted an eternity of pain. "Master, you have summoned us, and we are here" he said softly, his voice not having much strength behind it despite his calm facade. Corellon probably could see right through him, but he assumed the god would allow him to save face in this situation, for he was not a cruel and spiteful deity. He only hoped that the Grand Wizard would not bring up his loyalty to the Raven Queen in front of Aerendis, he wasn't ready for his past to revealed to the Paladin. He was really starting to be accustomed to the larger male's presence, as their still interlocked hands could attest to, and he didn't want it to end...didn't think he could handle the inevitable rejection that came with being the only child of Lahalia of the Shadowfell. |

Aerendis had quirked his head as if he'd swallowed something strong hearing his diety's voice, the one thing he fought for was unmistakably before him. His hand responded to Tharien's as he too felt the wizard's nervous searching aura. Corellon was not vengeful, spiteful or overly insecure about his position and the god's aura matched Tharien's equally gently caressing his senses and that of Aerendis'. His gaze darted between the two as he listened to Tharien address him rather formally for that matter. "I understand why you feel the need to call me that but why when you pray do you merely call me Corellon?" The paladin's up till now sturdy resolve crumpled at this point but he remained standing at attention unfaltering and not speaking just yet but it was for the most part true. Whether Tharien had every prayed to Corellon was another thing but even so he felt it was directed at himself. "Just kidding, I enjoy the trivialities of this world. Can you believe they would have me stay here? my favorite gem is sapphire." This was rather unbelievable still for the paladin as Corellon was trying to make small talk with the two yet somehow he felt that responding wouldn't be appropriate. "Well anyways you two seem fond of each other. But! there is a reason I summoned you two here while I could have just as well asked the favor of anyone else." Addressing first Aerendis with an open hand then Tharien he began to explain. "Aerendis you were a foretold birth, the downfall of my people as they would put it. But that is just the way of looking at it literally and you Tharien are just foreign enough that you'd have no problem helping us. While my words are cryptic it's better if I don't just tell you everything but be at ease that you are doing no wrong. I couldn't ask this of any other elf as they're far too viciously loyal to the wrong people if you know what I mean but you are young and untainted." "I called you here to give you purpose but in your current state I can't ask of you what I want. Do try your hardest never to fall into corruption, now unless you have any questions you may rest here." With a gesture a prismatic stairway appeared leading towards an undefined destination but when stepped upon they'd be whisked away to an elegant hall with many large rooms on either side of it. |

Tharien couldn't have responded even if he had wanted to, that's just what a mere mortal did in the face of a god, you listened until they asked for you to speak. The wizard listened to the first's words, confused at what he could mean, everything was filled with meaning that required knowledge Tharien didn't have to understand. He simply stared for a few moments after the god had finished speaking, trying to encourage himself to open his mouth and speak, to ask the numerous questions he had thought he would have had, but nothing was there, his mind had gone blank. All they had been told is that the father of their race had an interest in them, and that when they were ready, he wanted them to do something. "I'm sorry Lord, but my questions seem to have disappeared" he said, almost in a daze, having felt the magic of the patron of the arcane, he was almost in a drugged state, his grip on Aerendis' hand was strong, looking to the Knight to help him. |

He was just as bewildered as Tharien was and trying to force a single thought into his mind was an ordeal itself. Instead of trying to force something he merely accepted the situation for what it was. They had met the god and now were being asked to rest in a god's home, questions would come later and at a more appropriate time. As he began to walk towards the steps with the wizard's hand in his Corellon's lips parted again. "What I can say is you'll be needling little direction, things will work out you need only trust me." The first step was the last step as they came to a bright hall adorned with many rooms on either side. Instead of picking between which he wanted he just ducked into the nearest one presuming they were all the same. "Ooh... I feel almost nauseous." For just about the first time since they'd laid eyes on the city his hand parted with the wizard's and he sat down with his back against the wall. "Basically he's telling us to keep going down the path we're on." Hushed were his words as if someone besides Tharien were going to eavesdrop on them. |

Tharien slumped down on the nearest chair, the room being a common room, with a bedroom and other facilities down a small hall, there might have been more, but the wizard couldn't see beyond that. Sighing he made his staff disappear so he wouldn't have to worry about it. "Yeah...that was...I don't know how to describe it really..." he said weakly, "I never had expected...I mean..." he trailed off, unable to find the words that could express the emotions and thoughts that the meeting had created within him. "But what is the path we travel now? Its a bit forboding to think that what we have been doing will lead us to something that a god wants from us." he said, bringing a hand to his forehead as if to stave off a headache. |

As the wizard brought his hand to his forehead Aerendis' next statement was probably going to confirm just what he was thinking. "It's probably best not to think about it and just live. Suppose what Corellon means to say is we'll get wherever we're going when we're supposed to... gods are... fickle." The pauses in his statements were from mental exhaustion, he pushed himself up off the floor leaning on the wall now. "So where did you get the idea for these clothes anyway?" He tugged at them gently, curiously trying to look himself once over. "More importantly I guess we deserve to take a break here, this was our destination after all." |

"I'll say simply that I have encountered high society before, and know what is appropriate to wear" Tharien remarked softly, resting his head on the back of the chair and staring up at the ceiling, "as for a break, that sounds like a good idea, we need it after all that fighting and weird stuff...plus it wouldn't hurt to get some practice done and try and make some more gold." Waving his hand his clothes were suddenly replaced with a plain white casual robe belted with a soft white sash. His formal attire was suddenly folded on the table and clean as if he had not worn it. "I'm going to rest now, its been a long day and we can start doing stuff tomorrow" he said quietly as he crossed his legs up on the chair and entered the restful trance of their race. oOo When he arose, refreshed and ready for the day, Tharien would dress casually and, if Aerendis wasn't done yet, leave a note on the table saying where he was gone. Then he would make his way to the markets in search of potions ingredients, so that he could make some gold to fill their coffers and make life a little more comfortable for the two Eladrin. Once the ingredients were purchased he made his way back to their rooms where he would conjure the tools needed to spend the day casually brewing potions, a relaxing change compared to the rather harsh week he had had so far. |

The night previous Aerendis had asked for some proper clothes and was now dressed in a long purple tunic, white hose and simple leather boots. He arose later than Tharien finding the wizard's note stating he'd gone to collect supplies for potions which sparked Tharien's mind a bit. As a paladin he learned only minor trade skills but decided he could at least offer something to the group they had. He left his own note on the table should the wizard return before him. Of course as he stepped outside his eyes adjusted to the afternoon light which was pouring down as the daywatcher returned their time of day to what it was before he started screwing with it. There were two districts of town for him to choose from, the 'rich' part and the more casual shopping district. He chose the latter finding a smith asking for practice to make sure he'd not lost any of his skill from years of being out of practice. After paying for materials and laboring for a few hours he'd made a very simple buckler and blade, simple but crafted well. Returning to the tower he soon found Tharien brewing away and the paladin chose to simply sit next to him carefully placing his crafts on the floor. "I made stuff." |

Tharien looked up from the potion he was brewing, having made so many batches of the same potion all lined up in glass vials along the table that he didn't need to pay attention to what he was doing anymore. He smiled softly at the paladin as he entered, for some reason glad to be in his presence again. "Welcome back" he said as he ladled more of the potion into vials to cool, and vanished the dregs and conjured tools, having used all the ingredients that he had purchased. Now it was a matter of corking the potions once they had cooled and selling them for a tidy profit. "Lets have a look" he said as he picked up the sword and buckler that the paladin had crafted, looking them over with an almost practiced eye. Smiling at the other Eladrin again, he sat back down, picking up the materials he had picked up on a whim that were used to enchant an object. "These are good, give me a little while and you'll see what potential they have be revealed" he said as he drew the sword and conjured a small brush and a bowl, filling the bowl with fluid from the enchanting pack he had bought. Covering the sword with a variety of markings, Tharien bent his magic around the weapon, focusing his power through the enchanting mediums to change the sword into its new form. The way he did it wasn't forcing the weapon into a new form with new abilities, but rather revealing its inner nature. It was unusual, but it worked, even if it meant he could never be quite sure what it became. Forcibly enchanted items never worked as well as ones that were coaxed into a state they wanted. The longsword on the table warped as he worked, tiny beads of sweat gathering on his brow. A thin 'blood groove' appeared along the blade, elven writing seeming to carve itself into the groove, the elven words for Silveredge becoming visible, the weapon's new name. The tips of the quillons grew longer and swept downward towards the blade, shaping themselves like vines. The handle sported the same vinelike patterns that now formed the quillions, and the pommel reshaped itself into the head of a benevolent dragon of silver. Wiping his forhead free of the sweat that accumulated, Tharien slid the newly christened Silveredge into its equally altered sheath and passed it to the Paladin. "Take a look" he said distractedly as he grabbed the buckler, coating it with the same materials as he set to work. The shield grew larger on its place on the table, becoming the size of a heavy shield, its surface became a dark bronze-ish colour, and for some reason, the crescent moon of Corellon raising itself from the surface in silver, the edges of the shield also turning silver as they made a border. It was plain, but it was solid, and dependable. "There" the wizard said, leaning back with a look of satisfaction on his face, even as he mopped the sweat off of his face with a handkerchief, "what do you think?" |

It was the first time the paladin had actually held a magical weapon but he seen them during his outing, glowing and looking mysterious. Each magic item had it's own uniqueness about it kind of like one elf to another. He was fascinated as the items changed shape and reached out cautiously like a child taking first a weak but then firm grip of the items. They certainly did have a luster about them and the sword was light in his hand, as if by guidance he spun the blade and expertly thrust it for what would be a killing blow against a foe. They gleamed as he put them away and happily smiled at Tharien sitting next to him. "I done good didn't I?" Without thinking about he rested his head on the other's shoulder having grown quite fond. |

Tharien unconciously placed an arm around Aerendis' back as the Paladin leaned on him, a content smile on his face as he gazed over the stuff they had made, between the two of them they'd be able to make a living even if they didn't find any other way to earn an income. And this was something they had produced with their own skills, something to be proud of for sure. Standing up the wizard checked the vials, corking them carefully and dipping the tips in the small pot of wax he had had sitting over a magical fire. The wax hardened quickly and sealed the corks to the vials, ensuring they wouldn't come loose until they were required. "Well, we worked all day" Tharien said as he lined up the potions near the sword and shield, ready to go and sell in the markets tomorrow, "so lets go have some fun tonight. What do you think we should go do?" |

"Suppose we can go to the bar or try to make some money." Pushing himself up off the floor he decided it would be best to hide the magical items for now not knowing what exactly to expect while they were gone. He was the first out the door dashing to the path and taking a good look at the city around him. Among the establishments there were also guilds and parks, a magical grove nearby with a shimmering gate through which one could see a large field and lake. "I don't know Tharien, I guess we could just ogle some shops and people." |

Taking the paladin's hand in his own without realising it, the small wizard led them out into the city in search of something interesting to do. The next two weeks would mirror that first day, with Tharien making potions and enchanting any item that Aerendis would make on some days, other days were simply for study and writing in his spell book, and once or twice the whole day was dedicated to relaxation. And every night without fail the little wizard would find something for them to do, even if it was as simple as sitting by the fire in their common room and reading a fictional book together. But all good things must come to an end, and after their two week break it was time for them to move on. Tharien was sitting at the table in the early morning, writing in his spell book and nibbling on some dried fruit as he waited for his paladin to get up. He wondered idly where they would go next, but figured that it was something they could figure out as they went along. |

The paladin awoke visiting Tharien to reflect on their two weeks hopefully squeezing out the last of their relaxation. Of course a guard would appear to them entering the room rather rudely and suddenly, the otherwise stout guards of the city painted a strong image but this one seemed to tremble as he approached them. "Corellon is having court with Doresain, Kord and Pelor. His divinity didn't realize that he'd be taken away at this moment but we've known for some time that humans are coming to Majharn. I didn't think personally that withholding this information would do any good." Aerendis took a moment to think about what was being said, humans seemed to be all over the Fey but what was a few more in Majharn? |
