Yeah, what Cru said. All that made me leave, but ultimately Radu's appalling lack of social skills and shitty attitude towards his customers that made me leave. I'd rather pay $15/month to Blizzard than give my money to that guy. |

its so long ago i forgot when, but thats stuff i've been trying to say for a few years just about the work vs fun thing though, EL focuses JUST on hard work, the 'fun' is mostly shit cause fun isnt good, tweaking things a bit to make it atleast worth the effort is blashpemy. anyway, i found out that if you make constructive topics, or contructive pm's to him hes reasonable. and together you stand more chance, so get together w/ ppl and discuss stuff to make the game better, have 1 spokesperson present it to radu stay away from pk suggestions though if u a mixer >< |

Not everyone has a place in PK, I for one gladly admit that it's just not for me. I lack the focus, I lack the drive and most of all I hate the attitudes and the pathetic flames. Matter of opinion and choice. Doesn't mean I didn't at least try it in my own way. But there are people that would like to try it, and would like to see what it's all about, and honestly I question if ganging up on a 80s a-der over and over and over again just because you don't know who they are, is the right way to go about getting more people there. As Zutekh keeps repeating: it should be fun. I'll tell you one thing: there is nothing fun about coming back from the underworld for the 10th time in an hour. There is nothing fun about training your butt of, finally finding someone to have a levelled fight with, only to have it fucked up by some dickhead who only has balls because he bought 40 a-d levels more than you were able to train yourself to so far. Not everyone has the 'I don't give a shit' attitude that's apparently needed to be allowed into your 'L33T PKer world'. I'm glad I do give a shit, and even happier not to be part of it. |

so? happens often that a mixer with low a/d and attributes expects to beat a high lvl a/d char fully build for pk/training, but they dont win so they go on forums and suggest something stupid to ruin all the hard work/time spend lvling |

which is as unreasonable, just to give an example, as a fulltime PKer suggesting to remove certain potions from a game because they are driving up the costs for his preferred playstyle, totally disregarding the fact that the potions are actually used by others in other situations as well (potionskill, invasions, instances). |

lol acc/evas are actually made by potioners? thats a myth, I bet anyone that more then 95% of acc/eva's in game were bought from the NPC's. invasions being if you have to use acc/eva on it, your more then 85% going to diss/tele on it. use of mirror is much more useful. and for instances? I never have had to use acc/eva ever in any of the instances i've been in, And I have been in all of them. The attribute pots are more then enough, acc/eva which EVERYONE in PK uses is a bigger sink then rosto's. |

it's a player's CHOICE to use them, or to not use them. Just as it's a choice to take hellspawn or Hos perks, or to not take a few inorg nexus or veg nexus to provide in part of your own needs. |

From your posts it's very clear Dilly that even when you did try PK 'in you own style', you weren't looking to be as competitive as possible for your levels. All it comes down to is whether or not Radu want's to have a game with a lot of PK'ers. Mostly people who want to partake in PvP regularly are competitive types, if Radu wants to throw away thousands of potential players by not removing/adjusting some potions (for example) that 95% of are consumed in PK, just to keep the 5% (yourself) who use them elsewhere happy, guess that's his choice. If you want to ensure the playerbase stays small and reduce the potential for Radu to have more PK'er type players (many of who throw plenty of $$ around), then keep up your arguing against ideas that increase fun for the vast majority just to keep your minority happy. ...it's a secret plot to ensure Radu doesn't get more $$? ...ur so ebul

Sorry to burst your bubble on this Korr, but the vast majority of EL players doesn't give a rat's ass about PK. Is it something they should try? I believe it's good to at least try and understand a little what it's about, yes. I tried, I didn't WANT to understand it in the end, but at least I broadened my horizon for a while. PK can be fun, I don't question that. It gives an extra dimension to a game that's totally enjoyable to many without it. But EL being the way it has grown, it's perfectly possible to live without it, and many people actually are. BTW... you probably haven't noticed, seen as you haven't been playing lately, but there's quite a big number of new characters levelling their way up right now, who knows.. you may get some new blood to drink np ![]() |
