Last Desendant of the Bearinferds
The road to Camelot was a long and rough, but with the colder northern winds and the rough rolling hills gave way to the gentle southern hills with the warm breeze could nearly make one traveler sick. That was the cost of resting under a shady tree during the long nights that seemed to never end. It was a very long road from Rising Harmony to the city of Camelot over a 5 to 10 day journey at the most. Alayna was tried and mostly weather worn, but her horse was tried as well. They knew that they were determined to get there faster if only stopping to eat the wild berries on the side of the road.

It was about the seventh day when they came to a fork that pointed towards the west with the route towards Camelot. Alayna knew that they were getting close, but didn't know how close until the next morning when they crested a hill that overlooked the city of Camelot. She never did see a town like this seeing many towns that had a rather large village surrounding a castle in the center. Alayna guided her horse with the symbol of the Pendragon district on the saddle glittering in the sunlight as she crossed the bridge into the very busy street of Camelot. Merchants and locals selling their goods with an argument going on. This made her town look horrible which she agreed with no matter what. Stopping alongside of the street she looked around to try to find the road up to the castle or at least ask someone for directions. She turned to look trying to find someone to ask, "Are you looking for someone miss?" a merchant asked walking up to her.

Alayna explained that she had traveled a good ways for a urgent message to the King. The merchant directed her to the castle where she told a knight that she once again had a very important message. He led her inside where she saw the King and the very powerful wizard Merlin at the throne just before the knight closed the door behind him. Alayna tried to straighten herself up to where she was half neat or neat enough. She wondered if the King would believe her words as she stood there looking at the door hearing the faint voices beyond it.
