What the hell is this, you may ask? My own sinister concoction. Now then, I'll explain everything.

Hidari no Kijo takes place in sort of modern time period. There are kingdoms and knights on horseback, but there are also primitive guns and semi-futuristic technology scattered about. The world is torn by war, rebellion, betrayal and chaos. All the good stuff.

Now in this world, there is a "spiritual energy" similar to what you find in Naruto or DBZ. This is called "seika". All living creatures have it, but only a number of them actually believe in its existence. Those that believe in seika and have learned how to harness it are called Myoichi, which, in essence, are similar to mutants (think X-men) in the fact that there are lots of mixed feelings on them. Some hate them, some like them. Others choose to ignore them, kill them or hunt them down. You get the idea, yes?

The Myoichi materialize seika four different ways, generally called triggers. These abilities (called Mezatoi) are: Baditoriga, Hokitoriga, Soshitoriga and Ijitoriga. Body trigger, weapon trigger, element trigger and spirit trigger. Look below for more info on what those are.

So basically, there are elements from Naruto, Bleach and Dragonball in this. But not the overpowered OMGZ TEH SOOPER SAYENZ!!!11! kind of element.

In Hidari no Kijo, there are a total of (thus far) eight different lands (think Naruto here). Each land has their own villages, morals, beliefs and other stuffs. Obvious. There are three major lands with their own kingdom. These three make up the Wasankami (Circle of Three Gods). They are the Empire of Akanamida, Kingdom of Suberichaka and Kingdom of Mamenekko. Akanamida is the most hated kingdom. Its people are barbaric, malicious, vicious, bloodthirsty and traitorous. Their queen (its more of a matriarchy, since the queen is the main ruler. The king just sort of takes up space) is a devil of a woman who loves violence (not as much as herself) and power, so they like trying to take over their neighbors.

Once I've gotten all the lands' details finished, I'll post a mini-guide to them. Perhaps even Synda can help me make a map of sorts for the geography.

Terms:

Seika: Seika is the chakra/chi/ki of this series. All living creatures have it. Most humans are aware of what Seika is, but there are those that choose to ignore it or choose not to believe in it. Its considered taboo to a few cultures, even. However a great deal of humans have delved deeper into understanding seika and have learned how to use it. There is an "awakening" of sorts when a human learns how to utilize their own seika, which thus labels them as "Myoichi".

Myoichi: Strange one. It is a term branded onto humans that can harness their own seika. Every Myoichi is unique and fits into one of six different classes, listed below. The world is filled with them, and just about any human can become one. Becoming a Myoichi is regarding as "awakening" among them, since it is believed that upon becoming one, you have awakened as a new person.

Mezatoi: Term used to represent the Myoichi's abilities. There are four different kinds of Mezatoi, each called triggers.

Baditoriga: Physical trigger. Materializing seika through the body in some way, like through an arm or through the legs. There are various classes of Baditorigas, like Armor (in which the part is encased by armor, boosting endurance with an added effect) or Creature (physical transformation into an animal hybrid of some kind).

Hokitoriga: Arsenal trigger. Materializing seika through an external object, like a sword, a chain or a rope. Examples of abilities are somewhat similar to what you would see in Bleach. Duplication of the weapon, size manipulation or density augmentation.

Soshitoriga: Elemental trigger. Manipulation of an external force with seika. Fire, water, wind, ice, nature, steel, gravity. All examples. Doesn't have to be something that can burn or explode, it could be other things like controlling animals. Think outside the box.

Ijitoriga: Spiritual trigger. Anything that doesn't quite fit in with the other three. Like telepathy, cloning, teleportation, etc. A bit more X-men like, but more refined and restricted (at the same time).

Shisora: This is the term given to Myoichi who have accessed all four of their abilities. They are a rarity, but are feared and respected by all.

There are six classes of Myoichi. They are ranked in each class when a bounty is posted of them, based on their ability. They are: Zeta, Theta, Qoppa, Sigma, Omega and Sampi.

Zeta is the lowest level class and a common class of Myoichi. Myoichi in the Zeta ranking have very low level skills. They know about Seika and can manipulate it, but they have only one ability and have little skill with it. They are looked upon as weaklings by humans and are still training to understand their abilities.

Theta class is the second class, in which a Myoichi has one trigger, but has great skill with it. They know their power left and right and have trained to better understand it. Perhaps the Myoichi has not mastered their skill, but they're close enough.

Qoppa class are Myoichi with two triggers in their arsenal. Usually Myoichi in this level have only accessed two triggers, not necessarily mastered them as of yet. Qoppa is a common class throughout the land, usually in more dominant countries.

Sigma class is sort of an in-betweener to Qoppa and Omega. Myoichi in this class have mastered two triggers and essentially gained access to their third ability. In some rare cases, Myoichi with only two triggers have been labeled Sigma class because of how powerful they are, but only a small number ever do.

Omega is the second strongest class of Myoichi, the ones that have accessed three triggers and nearly mastered them. They are a frightening lot, but there is a small number of them because of how long it takes to master one's abilities. In some rare cases, Shisora (Myoichi with four triggers accessed) are labeled as Omegas because their skill is low.

Sampi are the elite. The strongest. They are the Kage level Myoichi, with all four triggers accessed. Myoichi in this level are generally now called Shisora, which recognizes their ascension to a heavenly level. Sampi class is the smallest and the most feared class, since anyone ranked as such is usually powerful enough to wipe out a small nation with little problem. Luckily, Shisora ranked as Sampi are highly uncommon.

As I said, if anything is still uncertain, ask away.

I don't suppose that I could persuade you to allow me to play the evil queen of the villainous empire? :P

More likely then not. This would be separate from the actual series (which is all in my head), so...

I'll say yes, but I ask that you hold off until more people join this and things start moving better. Make sense?

Gotcha. I understand. It wouldn't be extremely fun to be playing the empress of any nation without subjects to rule over and enemies to exterminate after all, would it?

Nope. Everyone should start with a basic character first. Then we work up.

I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not! :( I have a comment and a question though. The comment is that we probably need a character discussion thread for this RP. The question is could I make a knight character in the empire trying to work her way through the ranks?

Agreeing. Silly mouse.

Tell Synda. Me no have powers here. Can't do jack. He has to make a bio approval area first.

You can make a knight, if you want. A normal human knight or a Myoichi knight?

Anyone want to help Shino work on the...umm...geography? I'll give people 50% control over the descriptions and whatnot.

Is this going to be the final set or will there be room for improvement and change and what not?
