Secondly, have you tryed a game called DBZ RotS? If you haven't try to test it and see if you have any issues with that. If it is Free Mode the Z Fighters stay in Heaven and train alot.Yea they get only str and no ki?So what.Goku and Vegeta will fusion into Gogeta and they will have ki alot. I played with Frieza i had 14k power and 17ki and they fusioned in Gogeta and they had 23k power and 14k ki with no ki train.After that is Gohan what is almost the same.He had after the ultimate training 12k power and 8-9k ki with no Ki train.Vegeta can let a DB in Gravity Chamber and only him can get it.So you can't get the wish. So Z Villans will loose for sure,they will win just if Z Fighters are noob.

It's hard to balance the game when you have to keep two different modes in mind (disregarding the underused VS mode). So for the sake of simplicity, and a more balanced game, free mode is gone. Also without the infinite life crutch to lean on, maybe some of the crappier players will be forced to actually do something besides afk train, like learn how to play for example.
