No boost! No boost! Posts: 1,617 Group: Super Member Member #1,175 Joined: Jul 20, 2010	Alot has changed with Goku in 4.5. A new spawn zone which he now shares with gohan. He also spawns furthest away from the saiyan saga's new spawn point and with the change of learning instant transmission at 30 instead of 15, this makes it improbable that you'll get there in time before someone else gets it. How you do in the opening minutes of the game can dictate the later game. So I thought I'd write a small guide to getting a good start with Goku that doesn't rely on power ups from sagas or enemy heroes. 1) Work your way off mt. paozu. By the time you're past the turtles you should be 8-11, depending if gohan is here or not. You now have kaioken but you won't need it at this point. 2) Reach lvl 15. Once you reach 15 you'll have spirit bomb. This is the key to our strat. Work your way back towards chi chi/videl. At this point, you should have about 100 stats. 3) When you make your way back, begin to charge energy for the spirit bomb. Don't stand right at your spawn point, this might get you killed. Instead, stand just south of your spawn, where the small pack of muggers spawn at the corner. Keep charging your energy until saiyan saga spawns. 4) When saiyan saga spawns, Lord Yao also spawns at gohan and your start point. Lord Yao is a super creep introduced into the game in 4.5. He drops a boss power, the same as nappa would. He respawns on regular intervals after dying. Lord Yao spawns with 1k dmg, and is pretty hard to kill at this point for most heroes. Goku is probably the only player at this point who can kill him alone. Use this to your advantage. 5) When Lord Yao begins to approach you, absorb the spirit bomb. The blast given off by you absorbing the spirit bomb should be enough to kill Yao. If for some reason it doesn't kill him, the combination of your blast fist and kamehameha should be enough to kill him. Take the boss power that drops and you'll notice with spirit bomb absorbed you get about 200 stats. When the spirit bomb wears off, you'll notice you got about 50 stats in revert from the boss power. While this isn't as good as getting both nappa and raditz, this strat offers guaranteed stats for you and your team, seeing as how power ups in 4.5 not only give stats to you but give 50% of the stats you get from them also to your teammates. 6) After this, begin to work your way toward lookout. When you reach there, you should be atleast 20. Garlic saga should've already spawned at this point. If it's still there get it and you'll be off to a great start. If you can't it's not a problem as long as someone on your team does, you reap some of the rewards. Also, do not buy senzus at this point. If you need to heal do so with dende. Save your gold as you'll need something much more valuable. 7) Begin to chain and head east toward buu's/piccolo's spawn and try to hit 30 along the way. If you encounter an enemy hero, use kaioken if necessary. Once you hit 30 you gain ss and instant transmission. Use instant transmission to teleport closer to an ally hero thats near the top right corner. 8) Once you make your way to the northeast corner, you'll notice a cave with a beacon infront of it. This is the entrance to dr. gero's lab. Note, this is the new respawn point for villians. So be aware that villians could respawn at any point while you're here. Enter the lab and go up to the vending machine. Buy a speed chip and if you have enough gold also buy a power chip or an energy chip. The speed chip is an invaluable item that will give a boost to your movement speed. This will help alot as you'll burn mana fast in ss or kaioken. 9) If you still have time, instant transmission to a teammate close to lookout/west city and enter the world tournament. Deleted User	Pretty damn good mini guide there, I find the Lord Yao bit interesting. I may use that, in the unlikely event I ever play as Goku that is.

Legendary Super Saiyan Posts: 2,584 Group: Super Member Member #1,056 Joined: Jul 6, 2010 Battle.net account Superones	Vegeta kept trying to kill him, hes 5k power and died to him while yao had 2.4k atk... lord yao was still full hp whre i 2 shot him with melee as perfect cell.
