Broly is my favorite DBZ character so it hurts me to call him non-canon, do I not have to do that anymore?

Btw, how would I figure out what Akira Toriyama approves of as canon. Well from now on I'm going to refer to Broly as canon, no longer shall I have to lose a piece of my soul while talking about him.
