| By registering at the United Wrestling Front Forums, you are acknowleding that you have read and agree to our Terms of Service referred to from now on as "The Rules". Changes to these rules may be made at any time, as necessary. Updates to the board rules will always be announced right in the Announcement forum, so there will be no reason for a member to not be aware of rule changes. It is your responsibility as a member of these forums to read the board rules and all future changes to the rules. Failure to follow the outline belowed will result in warnings or banishment from the forums. If you recieve three warnings, you will be banned for a time period of up to 2 months. The Official Rules & Regulations for the UWF Forums 1. No Flaming or inciting others to flame you and/or another poster. - A "flame" is when you insult someone, or a group of people. We do NOT allow flaming at ANY TIME. This will be heavily enforced. People are here for the same reasons as you, they do not need to be called names or made fun of, so do not do it. We simply will not tolerate flaming or flamebaiting at all, so act like a mature person while on our site. This rule pertains to the ENTIRE community and includes the following kinds of insults:
No calling someone a moron, idiot, retard, fag, queer, etc. Act like a civilized individual with some maturity while on our site. This rule also pertains to avatars, signatures and any graphics/pictures you might post in a thread. A. No Hate Speech There is to be NO Anti-America, or any other country talk here. You can argue with facts about a country, but NO hate speech will be tolerated. This not only includes countries, but race, religion, sexual preferences, and nationality. This includes posting or linking to hateful material, or material that may be deemed offensive. This forum is meant to be open and fun for anyone, regardless of where they live, what their religion is, what their sexual preference is, what their political preference is, or anything else. This means you keep your hateful or offensive comments to yourself. All groups, religions, nations, terrorities, political parties, races, etc. is protected under this rule. 2. No spamming the Forums. - We classify spam in a number of different ways, all of which have different forms of punishment. However the form of punishment for each will not be listed here, so test us if you like.
- * If a thread hasn’t been responded to within 24 hours after your last post, then you are free to double post. If it’s been less than 24 hours, then simply EDIT your post, that’s why the edit button is there, UNLESS it is something important and the thread needs to be bumped. No, asking someone to reply to your last comment is not important. 3. No advertising or mentioning of other wrestling/movie forums by name or URL. - Advertising websites are not allowed in posts or new threads. If you start a thread to plug your site or another wrestling/movie site/forum then you will be warned, the thread deleted, and the URL to the site will be amongst the sites that will never be allowed to be linked from anywhere on this board.
- NOTICE: This rule also APPLIES to private messages (PMs). Do not send a PM to another user linking them to your website or advertising for another website. Anyone caught doing this will be suspended from using the PM system. So don't do it. 4. Allowed Images/Images that aren’t allowed. - You are allowed to use images in any of your post here in the Network Forums. All images are allowed, with the exception being anything related to the following:
- Signatures must not contain any of the above; see also rules for advertising above. - Registered users of the UWF Forums may have avatars up to 130 x 250 (width times height, in pixels). Avatars with nudity or offending content (racism, offensive towards religion, criminal behavior, vulgarity, profanity, etc.) will be removed. 5. Staff Rights / Insulting the Staff Any member of staff may edit or delete your post if it breaks any of the rules listed throughout this piece. If you have a complaint about a edited or deleted post, take it up with a staff member via PM or in the feedback forum. Do not troll other threads or start new threads complaining about a staff member editing or deleting a post of yours. Moderators and Super Moderators may suggest banning’s, while Global Moderators and the Admin have the ability to ban anyone. If you're banned, then take up the issue with the person who banned you, no one else. The right to ban is the choice made by each individual and will not be questioned by another staff member. If there is reason to suspect a member has been banned for no real reason, we will look into it and the staff member who banned said person will have their banning ability removed. If you have any beef with any member of the staff (see end of post), then email or PM that staff member or a staff member of a higher position. Another option is too respectively discuss it in the feedback section. Any kind of flaming towards a staff member will result in a banning. Yes, this rule also applies to other staff members insulting each other. 6. Language & Grammar We're not fans of censorship, so we do not have our language filter activated. But that doesn't mean you're able to swear up a storm. Foul language is generally frowned upon, and outright not allowed when used in excess. Keep in mind that this is an open forum, meaning guest are allowed to view, and that childeren can view these forums. So please try and keep the swearing to a minium, if any. Internet lingo, outside of the occassional LOL, is not allowed. This is a message board, not an IM program, so your messages should be posted in English. Good grammar is encouraged, this means you should at least attempt to follow the basic rules of writing. 7. Personal Information Any personal information you put in your profile or post in threads can be seen by any registered member of our forums or by any guest. This means that if you put your AIM, MSN, YIM, ICQ or Skype information that you are inviting others to contact you off of our site. We are not responsible for any harassing communication that you may receive through there. The staff only moderates the forums, PM's or emails sent through the board's system. Any problems that you have through messenger services or on other forums needs to be reported to those providers/hosts. This means that when you enter that information, it is at your own risk. 8. Be Respectful Remember that although these are just words on the internet there is a human being sitting at the other side of the keyboard. Take a moment to read what you just typed before you hit the reply button and think about how you would feel if someone said it to you. Treat each other, and staff members, with the utmost respect. This includes adhering to all forum rules, at all times, and generally show good manners including no yelling, no swearing, no flaming, no flame-baiting, etc. 9. Spoilers If you want to post a spoiler of any kind here then make sure you add the word SPOILER to your thread title. That way, if someone wants to be un-spoiled they can choose not to open the topic. We don't mind spoilers being posted but remember, label them! Also when using spoilers in a thread not marked spoilers, use the SPOILER TAG. This rule applies to both wrestling and non-wrestling events (I.e. movies, etc.) 10. Plagiarism - If you write a column or any creative piece, or do graphics, you better not steal some one else's work. All violators of this rule will be banned and will not be allowed to ever come back! 11. Multiple Accounts/Aliases If you create multiple accounts on the board, extras will be deleted and the original account will be seriously warned. If you do this twice, expect ALL accounts to be permanently banned! If you share a computer, simply PM a staff member and let us know that someone else using your computer or network will be registering on our forums. 12. Quoting When quoting another members post, edit the quoted portion to the salient material needed to make your point! There is no need to repeat entire posts (sometimes many post deep) within the body of your response. Too many and too large quotes hampers the readability of the threads. Keep it simple, and only quote the portion that you are responding too. 13. No One or Less Replies Post that are only one line long contribute nothing to discussions, so please try and keep your post longer than two lines. Don't just post emotioncons, or short answers like "me too", "I agree", "you're wrong", "I disagree", etc. 14. Backseat Moderating Any non-moderator instance of telling another community member the rules and regulations of the board is cause for warning. No one likes to have rules quoted to them constantly, especially if it's by someone who doesn't need to. There's no need to play vigilante moderator when you see a violation of our rules, simply use the report function and a moderator will take action. These rules are posted and there are moderators for a reason, please don't recite them to others. 15. Age Limit Rule - The UWF Forums do NOT use COPPA forms during the registration process. As a result of this, in terms with rules of the TOS, no persons under the age of 13 will be allowed to become a member of this message board. If you are under 13, please do not sign up here, wait until you turn 13. Any persons under 13 caught trying to sign up will have their accounts permanently banned. If you have a suggestion about something you'd like to see changed, please make use of the Feedback forum located in UWF Forums Rules & Announcements. That forum is there to cover all problems, including trouble you may have with the rules or staff members. If you wish to have something clarified or feel a problem needs resolving, do it there. Keep in mind the standard rules for the rest of the board apply in Feedback as well.
