Da Book Of Important Things! 1. Do not complain or make excuses or whine to us if you lose, everyone is gonna lose sometimes, it happens, please try to restrain yourself from complaining about it. 2. We allow harsh language for emphasis and proper wording but do not cuss every other word, don't make it your entire priority to cuss every chance you get, cause that will just get tiring and repetitive. 3. No drama on the forums, try to keep it on MSN or on personal basis. Contact a fed head or staff for further concerns. 4. When you RP, make sure it's decent length and at LEAST a page. This isn't really asking much, it's only a page folks. I really don't want to read a paragraph or two of hardly anything. 5. If you do not RP for a match you will forfeit and lose. If it's a title match, you just lost your title. 6. RP limit for WNR is 2, for PPV's it's one. 7. If you RP late after the WNR deadline on Sunday 11:59 PM EST, then we allow a two day grace period, for WNR is posted on Wednesday. During this period your RP must be directed towards your match and/or the GM/Owner of UUW which are Kyle Morris and Tanner Lawson, think of it as a plea if you will, a last chancery to prove why you can still win. You may only make ONE grace period RP after the initial lateness, and accordingly, your opponent can if he or she pleases, reply in your grace period RP topic in character and thus creating interaction between the two wrestlers as if you two are shooting promos on eachother. The grace period ends Tuesday 11:59 PM EST, and then finally the match result will be decided afterward. Additionally, the grace period permits to multi person matches as well, where all participants may reply to a grace period topic if they see fit to stop the tardy RP'er(s) from winning so easily. But grace period is only permitted to WNR NOT PPV's, and opponent same topic replies are only allowed during grace periods. 8. Wrestlers can only hold one title at a time, unless it's a singles and a tag title. 9. If you can't RP for any reason or need proper time off, PLEASE let a staff member know ASAP. 10. If you and another wrestler or wrestlers have an angle or particular storyline you'd like to address let the staff know ASAP, otherwise we're going to give you a randomly created storyline building to a random feud. 11. If you and another wrestler want to face eachother in a match, contact staff and we'll try and make it happen. 12. Make your RP's readable and easy to understand, we need to be able to know what's going on and what's happening with the characters to judge it. 13. You MAY NOT use another person's wrestler or character in your RP's unless you ask them first. 14. No advertising unless a fed head otherwise says it's allowed. Any members caught advertising will be warned then properly banned. 14. Don't take anything said in RP's seriously, have fun, be creative, and be a loyal UUW follower! If you lose, get back up and try again! In Depth Roleplaying Rules: -Please PLEASE do not post any racist or stereotypical RP's that are directly offending another race or culture. I'll allow a few slip ups, but nothing overly offensive or over used. -Absolutely NO forging/copying and pasting of roleplays in this fed or others are allowed, those who do this will be suspended. -I am allowing replying in roleplays. And I am also allowing shooting ONLY IF your opponent(s) are ok with it. This is because in RP's your typically in character, at all times, and it would be weird to say a comment to the handler of the character and not the actual rep itself. You don't see HBK super kick little kids in his out of fed life now do ya? -Do not RP snipe. RP sniping is waiting for your opponent to RP first so at the last minute you can sneak an RP in there replying and attacking the previous one. If your gonna reply to an RP, please post a good amount of time before a deadline so your opponent can reply back, or at least use the grace period if need be. -If you get feedback, please don't reply or argue with it. This just makes the staff angry and thinking you just need attention. -Please remember to correctly format and plan out your roleplays. We do not want to read RP's on the day of the deadline only to see a million spelling and sentencing errors as well as it not being formatted or properly spaced out for a decent read. As staff we have alot of people to feedback, we ask that you understand this. -Follow feedback correctly. Alot of times we see people not listening or paying attention to their feedback and do the same mistakes they've been doing over and over without properly progressing because people either believe we're wrong, suck at feedback, or are "too harsh" when in reality the official feedbackers are staff and have the experience as well as being a part of e-fedding for years. -Do not politick. Politicking means talking via MSN or other out of character means to get a win through conversation and agreements, we base wins solely off RP skill alone, we do not allow side talk involving opponents asking people to let them win, if we find out someone is politicking they will be suspended. -The staff creates a foundation for a feud or storyline between a hand picked and randomly selected pair or bunch of superstars. We do this to keep an element of surprise and excitement. For example I create a storyline for two random superstars, one of them is cheating on the other's gf, the gf gives the cheating one a pair of keys to the other guy's house, in which he secretly bangs his gf, thus making the gf cheat on him. After we build such a foundation, the superstars involved are then forced to play off it making great heat, amazing feuds, and historical fun. The storylines we come up with can be anything from kidnapping a star's father, to hijacking someone's car, and then you play off of it into a feud. If, for ANY reason you do not agree with the hand picked feud and storyline by creative staff, please let someone from creative staff know you want to choose your own storyline and feud, but that would be boring now wouldn't it? And thus, not so surprising anymore. -Lastly, the grading is on a 0-100 scale, it's fair and simple. 60-promo/CD 25-grammar/structure 15-presentation. It's a system everyone can figure out and attune themselves to. If you have any issues or disagreements with this system please talk to a staff member or fed head about it directly. |
