Command Codes; All about them

At USS Windsor, we've implemented a unique gameplay feature - Command Codes.

In the world of Star Trek, everyone has their own security clearance and corresponding codes to match. The senior staff have a number of different clearance codes depending on their responsibilities (Lt. Commanders and Commanders, for example, all have a specific code to iniate the ship's autodestruct sequence in addition to their normal codes). When you create your character, we give you your character's security clearance codes to save you having to come up with them, and to add an interesting if relatively minor dynamic to the gameplay system. In the Star Trek world these codes require voice recognition, so there's no need to keep them a secret from other characters unless the code you're given is specifically stated as being non-verbal. You can use your command code whenever you have your character access hidden files, lock a computer, over-ride a program or ship system or confirm a specific order given to the computer.
