British Cultural Festival 2010 ============================================ As Summer draws nearer, I feel it is time we start to get culture more visual and becoming a larger part of the activity within the region. So, it is the launch of the first British Cultural Festival 2010. A forum will be created around 04/05/2010 to mark the opening of the festival, it will run for two weeks before the festival finishes and the forum is closed. So, how would this work? Well, people will post videos or images from youtube or the internet showing their favourite piece of culture. So what could this involve? • Horticulture • Fashion • Interior Design • Art & Architecture • Performing Arts (Drama, Dance and Music) • and more... Why not come down in June to the British Cultural Festival? All regions are welcome to get involved! The Ministry of Culture Be part of it. |

I saw the Festival Lexi, but I would like to know if you personally chose the cultural topics or it was people's ideas as I didn't find these topics very eye catching to be completely honest. |

Well Keiren, if you feel so strongly as to tell the Culture Minister that the topics she chose were inadequate, you could always suggest more. However, I find them to be suitable for everyone's taste. |

I would've suggested an earlier suggestion topic so the people could choose the topics, for example there is no sports section. |

I'll add a sports section now. If there is anything else, feel free to suggest. It didn't know it was going to cause controversey.
