It's hard to believe the unit is going to wear a Snakes cap into the hall! After 10 years with the M's including with Junior, Edgar, Even A-fraud he should re-think where he came from. Well, at least he didn't say I'm going in with a Jankees or (even worse) a Giants cap.

I guess he values that 1st World Series ring with the Snakes over all those great young years with the M's. Does this give Gene the bragging rights then???
cheers, TD

No Way Jose! Gene will have to come up with another angle. What you all need to do is watch Little Big League & see what uniform the unit (and Junior) brings to the table to send the twinkles down!!!

Makes sense to me. His best years were in AZ!

No, No, No wrong! His best years weren't in Arizona, his Arizona teammates just jelled a little quicker for a couple of seasons there and they got to the title game a little easier as a group. Think about Ernie Banks (RIP) & performing at the highest level for a team that didn't necessarily meet expectations & make it to the big dance! Does that say he wasn't a HOF player for the Cubs and worthy of a statue outside Wrigley field and wearing a "C" on his cap in the hall? I don't think so!

Personally, I loved watching the big unit in any uni, but in my humble opinion when you go to the hall you wear the hat of the team for which you exploded a pigeon into a ball of feathers and dust with an impossibly timed 99mph fastball! I wish he had been at his greatest as a Giant, which he clearly was not, but it was still great to watch him pitch for our team every 5 days.

I have to admit that was an amazing pitch. Can you imagine being the guy in the batters box after that? Not only staring out at 6-10 RJ but also at the pile of feathers on the grass after his 100 MPH four seam pidgy-vaporizer. Yikes!

Randy Johnson is also the reason JT Snow gave up hitting from the right side. He not only exploded a bird, but also JT's eye socket.

J. T. was one of my favorite players for lots of reasons & it's a bummer that RJ got high & tight with him. Thinking back to the old hidden ball trick against the Dodgers Perez, the pedigree of his dad being an L. A. Rams great and that he was traded from the Yanks to the Angels are just some highlights I remember. But in those days, that was baseball and it was played differently than it is now. Anyway, It's about time to start 2015 and I'm sure there will be new stories written and history made! Not to take anything away from the Giants roll for the past few years but LET'S GO DODGERS (and Fantasy Mariner's)!

That's a lot of talk about Big Units! Go Dodgers! Go TI Pirates! Go Black Sox (oops, that's the other league).
Enjoy 2015, all...
