| Welcome to Tzeon. We hope you enjoy your visit. Tzeon is an entirely free-form original fantasy roleplay; it's up to the player whether they choose to get involved in the exciting worldwide plots or simply live their lives in relative peace in one of the towns or cities around the world. Joining in is simple: sign up for an account in your character's name, introduce yourself in the OOC forums, build your character's personality, history and motives, then join in a thread or one of our wider plots simply by writing your character in. Playable species include four elfin races, dwarves, centaurs, fae, half-elves, nymphs and of course humans. There are forty countries in the world, all of which are inhabited and most of which are playable; there are political factions, guilds, cities and wastelands to call home. Join us here! Registration is simple, fast, and completely free. If you're already a member please log in below to your account to access all of our features. Logging in has the handy side-effect of making this box disappear, too. |

The FAQ isn't required reading, but you may find answers to your questions here. If you've thought of something we haven't covered either here, in the Rules or in the World Info, feel free to ask and we'll be happy to help. Please place:
Questions may be added to this FAQ at any time, particularly if several people ask us about the same issue (we're not perfect; we know there are probably things we've missed!). Remember, the only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask, so don't be nervous and don't think you're an idiot if something isn't clear -- it's much more likely to be our fault than yours, and we'll always be glad to clarify. Q: Can I play more than one character? A: Absolutely. There's no limit on characters per player except your own ability to keep up with them all. We only ask that you sign up a new account for each character individually, using the character's first and last name, with a space in between, for your log-in. Multiple accounts can be attached to the same email, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of several email addresses in order to have several log-ins here. Q: How does the guild system work? A: In short, guild groups are simply a way for like-minded characters to find one another. It makes sense, from a real-world perspective, that there should be a list of members of a certain professional group or guild somewhere, and so we've implemented a grouping system here for the same purpose. However, there's more to being in a guild than a shiny member badge. Guild members have a whole separate aspect of their gameplay to consider, including exclusive events, polls and discussions. There's lots more information on the guild system here. Q: There's a lot of information here to digest. Is there a summary anywhere? A: There is a lot of info to go through, but we've tried to sub-section it to make it easier for you to find the bits that are relevant to you. Nevertheless, we would advise at least skimming all of it so you get the full picture. If anything isn't clear when you start to formulate your character, ask us in the Characters forum and we'll get straight back to you. Q: How can I contact a moderator or admin? A: There's a full list of admins and moderators here. Click on any staff member's name to be taken to their profile, where you can PM them directly. Q: I signed up with a generic name, but now I see that all account names must relate to the character played by that account. Can I change it, or should I just sign up again? A: We would much rather you request a name change than sign up again, as that helps us keep our character count accurate. You can find a detailed how-to of changing your log-in name here. |
