It's millions of years in the future, humans being long extinct. Now the animals reign in this new era, the way it was meant to be from the start. Many would expect this new world to be how it was before humans came, but this asumption is far from right.

Wolves and felines run together, their packs and assortment of the dull color of the wolves to the bright an exuberant colors of the big cat's pelts. They are thriving, packs of up to thirty animals being healthy and well. Living in such close proximieties has caused problems, interbreeding being one of them. Almost 80% of the crossbreed offspring are infertal, meaning that if they don't continue to mate with their own kind the species will eventually die out. Only a few of the animals have chosen to realize this, making sure that generations of purebreeds continue on.

With the packs this strong the food is dwindling, the drounght not helping them survive either. The drought was easy to ignore until now. The elk are growing slimmer, which makes it easier for the packs to catch but when the elk are smaller they must hunt more. It had even come apparent in the packs, pup going down in size because of the lack of nutrients. Along with all of the adults becomming skinnier as the dry months continue.

There is, however, hope for these animals. The gods are not pleased with the crossbreed animals and though they can't prevent it they can punish them. The few animals who try to stop it will be rewarded greatly, the others with continue to be punished until the end of their time.

The future of their lives, the world, and everything is in their hands? Are you up for the challenge?
