This seems to a good deal considering it's $45 with 500mb of data with the option to add on data that carry over for a few months, I currently use around 800mb-1g of data, this could save a little money over a period of time, I'm considering leaving Net10 unlimited* for this. |

tfuser19 -- I can't see that the sale of those towers should have any effect on TracFone or even Verizon customers. As I understand it, Verizon simply wants to exit the cell tower maintenance business. Apparently, Verizon has crunched the numbers and has discovered that it is cheaper to rent than to own. So, while Verizon no longer owns the cell towers, it still rents antennae space on the towers. ShadowDancer

(Verizon Prepaid) LG Releases their first LTE Feature Phone http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-VN220-verizon-exalt https://www.verizonwireless.com/basic-phones/lg-exalt-lte/ I always thought the Exalt series was nifty, so I was happy to hear this one is LTE capable. Camera placement bugs me but whatever not that relevant. Shame on the price ($168 outright), Verizon really doesn't want money from people wanting a basic cell phone I guess! Update: GSM bands for roaming... So technically, not only LTE bands... |

Verizon VoLTE only, with no CDMA capability. Seems to have no GSM LTE capability, so just 3G in that mode. Not sure if it would automatically roam onto a GSM network if you lost Verizon LTE. Does Verizon even have roaming agreements with GSM networks in the USA? |
