Who wants to be a guinea pig? The following has been reported to work for Straight Talk users, and one person has claimed that it has worked for them on Net10 using a T-Mobile SIM . . . Finally! Straight Talk Adds Option To Check Data Usage A number of Straight Talk users on another phone forum are reporting that they received a text this morning saying: "You can now check on your data usage at any time! Text USAGE to 611611." http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2014/02/finally-straight-talk-adds-option-to.html So, if you have a NET10 Android, try it, and see if it works. Then, please post your results below. Several Straight Talk customers using Verizon just reported that it did work with their CDMA Android smartphones, too. ShadowDancer

I tried this on my Tracfone ZTE Valet. The text message and the web page that it linked to say the information could be stale and inaccurate. I'll continue to get my usage from the Myaccount app or their web site. The information there is up to date and "official". |
